We stayed at Peregian Court a couple weeks ago and had an unstable
experience, which I see now a few other reviewers have had as well. 1 star for Customer Service, but 3 star for accommodation itself, so leaving a 2 star rating. I'm not a very hard rater either - I just left 5 star ratings today for hotels in Thailand and Vietnam where all the workers were so kind, accommodation was great, etc.
Elderly man that manages this place (Peregian Court) was obnoxiously rude not just to me at check-in, but also to other family members that checked in separate from us the same week. We were shocked, as we never encountered such rude customer service. Very cold and rude welcoming, no help on questions, and just patronising. With such rude customer service by him, we checked online (Google / Wotif) reviews after check-in and saw some other customers the past couple years complained about the man being rude as well - wish we would have checked the reviews before our stay, but figured Noosa/Peregian being so chill and nice we wouldn't encounter a hospitality worker act so rude.
The accommodation complex itself is quite old/worn. The units themselves though felt like home. Thankful they had Air Conditioning and the fridge/couch/kitchen island/dining table/etc all are nice homely touches. It's not walkable to any good restaurants or shops. The rooms itself are average (3 star).
We noticed a sign on the office door stating he was trying to sell Peregian Court apartment complex. Once we saw that (after he was so rude) and saw some other customers encountered his rudeness, we didn't feel weird about how rude he was to us and just enjoyed our holiday. It appears by his attitude and the complex itself being quite worn, he's given up and doesn't care about the business anymore. Pretty sad given how nice and chill Noosa area is - many people go there for holidays and don't want have to deal with negativity.
