Noisy

1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 Jun 2016
Noisy. We even called them in advance to check, they assured us we would not find noise a problem. It was. Of course they couldn't do anything about the roadworks (7 am start with jack hammer and regular barrage of trucks delivering asphalt throughout the night). But even without that, it's very noisy with traffic on two sides (we were there in low season so not sure what peak would be like). You can't leave the windows open (and if you do you might get blasted by the manager at 9:30 pm because of the noise of a family card game! I do apologise for that - we had inadvertently left a window open as it had been a wet day and the rain drowned out the traffic noise which was a nice change). As for the rest - ensuite bathroom and toilet are located directly in your bedroom - no door (kind of a musty smell as a result - maybe due to the filthy air vents or fans which have a layer of dust caked on them?). Filthy carpet from the shower area, mould growing on the ceiling of the second bathroom (yuck).
Overall a pretty ordinary stay which was a pity. Peregian is a great place with plenty of friendly and quiet accommodation options. You don't need to put up with this.

Room Tip: Steer away from the 3-bedder. There is only one and its awful.

We came across this place randomly on an internet search after we could not find any last minute accomodation in Noosa. I am so glad we did. Unlike most backpackers we had the luxury of our own car which meant we did not need to be so precious about staying inside Noosa itself. The resort is around about a 10 minute drive up the coastal road from Noosa and Noosaville.
The apartment cost us less per person than what a hostel would have and what great value for money. It had two decent size rooms, one with a double and the other with twin beds, bathroom, full kitchen with open plan living and dining area, a balcony that partially overlooked the ocean, washer, dryer and free parking. The local beach (Peregian) is about a 2 minute walk away and is stunning. The whole coast line is one long beach that just goes on and on but each part has it’s own name.
This is not a lively place to stay, we were grateful of the peace and quiet and the time to relax. There are no bars, restuarants or shops within easy walking distance so a car is necessary in reality but there are buses that stop just accross on the main road that run to Noosa. It is nestled inside Noosa National Park so you are surrounded by natural beauty.
The only negative is that there is not free wifi, in fact we could not even manage to connect to the paid service but it wasn’t too much of an issue for us as we were taking time out and had 4G for when we needed the internet.

Definitely fully furnished and extremely equipped, with all the comfort of staying a home on a budget. We enjoy our stay in this place.
So handy to Noosa (8/10min drive, need a car)one one side and 3/5 minutes to peregian shopping area and Coolum on the other side. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit upstairs facing a bit of ocean with a large balcony. Very clean, the place is not new but feels very homely. Pool is in the middle of the complex and so is the heated spa (has got a cover but can be used any time during the day).

I booked this resort midyear for a family getaway over christmas and we were so happy and impressed with the space of the apartment, quiet location and of course the fabulous ocean views. I did email twice beforehand after reading reviews requesting the best room and I believe we got it - Room 10!!!! We brought crockery for the christmas table and even a hard drive to watch movies but the kitchen facilities were all there along with Foxtel channels - a great bargain for the price we paid. The management were lovely and courteous, thanks so much for making our stay happy and memorable.

Room tip: Room 10 is awesome

Had 3 days to kill between speaking engagements so I ventured to the Sunshine Coast. Thought I would stay a couple days here and move on to Noosa but ended up staying the whole time. Close to 4-5 different beach locations, including the Noosa area which is 15 minutes away. The village is great for shopping, food, anything you need. Staff was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Clean beach is 100 yards away.

My unit was 2nd floor, view of ocean and pool area. Fully appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, it had it all!
