we stayed here for the first week in June. the cottage was very clean and adequately furnished and we received a pleasant welcome from the owner Amanda. The cottage is very small but there was everything we needed for our stay .
The coastal path is just outside the cottage and 500 metres away is the Cairn de Bernenez which is an amazing sight and well worth a visit as it is the largest megalith in Europe. Unfortunately the creperie just down the road appears to be closed permanently but a few minutes away in Plouzoch there is a lovely creperie and the best restaurant we found is the Cafe du Port at Dourduff ( booking recommended ) .
A lovey little cottage ideal for me and my husband. The beach is just a short stroll away and the views are idyllic. My husband loves seafood and was very successful foraging on the beach for mussels and razor clams. The area is beautiful, lovely coast line, very quiet with great restaurants around. The cottage is fully equipped and is immaculately clean. Furnishing is simple but more than adequate, very comfortable and well kept. There was loads of storage and every drawer or cupboard that you opened was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. You do need to bring duvet cover, sheets and towels etc as these are not provided. There is a lovely little garden with furniture on a decking area that affords great views of the bay but the conservatory also has great views if it isn't nice enough to eat al fresco. There is also a settee in the conservatory that gets all the afternoon sun. The TV has all the English channels if you fancy watching a bit of TV and there is Wi-Fi so it is easy to keep in touch with everyone at home. This was a home from home for me and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is charming and met us on arrival and departure. She gave us all the information that we needed and also said that she was close at hand if we had any problems to just give her a call, We didn't have any problems so she met us to say goodbye before we left. A very quiet location and a very quiet part of Brittany, stunningly beautiful and totally relaxing. We will return and highly recommend this cottage.

The lady who owned the property was very nice, and greeted us upon arrival. Only when she left found out there was no bed sheets, pillow cases or towels. Paying 50 euros for cleaning such a small place and not even linen is included is excessive. And being a bank holiday weekend only just made the supermarket on time to get the linen and towels that was missing. Also wanted to charge more for electric but this was
dropped after stating this was not stated on the site. Also no barbecue as advertised which was disappointing. Nice enough place and ok value for money. But needs to show photos of beds without linen as that is what we got.
had a great relaxing holiday at Oyster Cottage last year. If you like strolling leisurely on a lovely coastal path literally outside garden gate this is the place. had many meals sat at table in garden looking towards sea. Relaxer chairs in garden nice and private to sunbath.
Near to the Cairn at Barnenez very ancient site - a must to visit. Restaurant just down the road - just opening times seemed abit odd. Village 5 mins in car with good supermarket with excellent cooked meat, salad, and very tasty things. Roscoff a must to visit, went to health spa swimming pool with outside Jacuzzi - very reasonable. Owner will give you all details what to see and where to go, She even took us for a morning walk after we arrived to show round the local headland walk and pointed out so many interesting things.
