To make it clear, this is an Osteria and not a high-fledged restaurant. Everything was best quality and we really would have enjoyed it, had it not been for the gigantic portions they serve! :-D We had to stop after antipasto and primo, although we would have liked to continue. Also the house wine was a delight, and i write this a a frequent Italy-traveller.
So, recommandation to the owners: less is more! :-D

Superb meal, delivered with grace and charm. Delicious fresh produce, cooked in a light handed manner. The speciality puffed bread and hams are simply gorgeous - a must have! After that, unless you are starving, you will need to choose between the pasta dishes or the meat - we foolishly chose both and the meat dish did not get the attention it deserved. That said, there was not a single dish that was anything other than superb! To top it all off, the organic Pinot Noir was fantastic and the home made sorbet and ice cream....... Miam miam. At the end of the meal we needed a taxi back to the hotel.... solution, the lady in charge took us home, that is what gets the sixth star - excellent and charming!

We drived here ať 19:25, it seemed like closed. Nobody there, door and windows closed. They open at 19:30, nobody talk english (only italian). Menu also only in italian. Too choose a food was difficult for us. But the food was great (salumi, secondi and dolce). Before we ordered, the trattoria was almost full and atmosphere was italian.

This restaurant is where everyone from Parma goes to eat! It is so cute inside! All the pasta is homemade! I recommend that homemade pasta and sausage. The Trippe was so tender and the eggplant parmesan was so tasty!
