Lovely hotel. Very helpful staff, even if very limited English. Located just behind the Main Street so nice and quiet yet convenient. Large rooms for Asia with quite dark curtains which is helpful. The free laundry was also a big bonus. Limited western food breakfast but plenty of food available. Would certainly recommend. We made use of the free bikes too which was a great way to get around!

Herb Art Hotel is located in a quiet street just behind the main street of Luodong. So it's close to all the actions including Luodong night market and train station, but at the same time, is away from the street noise.

We were pleased with our room which is spacious, have a writing desk, chairs and small coffee table. The non-slippery bathtub was the best comfort for us after we got back from Taroko Gorge.

For the laundry room, there were only 2 washing machine and 2 very small dryers. We had the unfortunate time when one inconsiderate guest dominates all the 4 machines for hours until the laundry room closed at 10pm, so we had no choice but to hang our damp clothes in the room. Hopefully the hotel will add more machines and make it coin operated, so no one will selfishly used up all the machines.
