Quite disappointing considering that it is a Marriott hotel. I booked this hotel because I've had good experience staying at other Four Points, however, the sevice and the condition of the room was below average.
First, when we checked in, we weren't informed of any of the services, such as the time and the location of the breakfast, the operational hours of the swimming pool, etc. By the way, there was no common greeting in the room(welcome note with fruit, etc.) that is usually provided by a hotel of this level.
Second, it was quite difficult to locate the staff. When we were at the pool, there wasn't anyone to receive our order and give information on towels. We had no choice but to wait for several minutes before one of the staff showed up. By the way, the towels were in very bad shape. (New towels have been placed now)
Third, the condition of the room was disappointing. The refrigerator was broken and the hairdryer was full of dust as if it hadn't been used for years. The AC was not as cool as it should be.
I would hesitate to recommend this hotel. It is better off to stay at a different hotel with this price. This place certainly does not meet the standard of Marriott Bonvoy.
By the way, the staff seems to have no intention to provide good service. During breakfast, no one cared about cleaning our table until we had to ask one of staff to do so, and it was really slow.
I have added two more stars due to the politeness and kindness of the majority of the staff. I hope my review could contribute in improving the quality of the hotel.
