A short ride from Mykonos to the north west edge of the island. Impressive silence and views, and smell of the blue flowers. We were watching the sunset there, not more than ten other people around. The lighthouse is abandoned and nothing special to look at, but the views around are breathtaking, you can just sit there on the stones and enjoy.

The lighthouse stands on a high rock above the sea. You can enjoy the view to Tinos, Delos and small inselets around Mykonos. In April there are so many flowers around it. We came there on Sunset, it was fantastic! Unfortunately very windy up there, so take warm clothes.
There are two roads to the lighthouse. One of them - near the coastline - is marked on the map as "wide" and the other one - on the hilltops - as "narrow". My advise is to take the hilltop road since it is almost empty (at least in April) and relatively flat. The side road between the coastal "wide" road and the lighthouse is extremely up-and-down, not for week nerves :)

It was quite an adventure to get here because I took some wrong turns (but what is wrong when you are on holiday). The way up was more spectactular than the lighthouse itself. Could use some paint.

Took a scooter ride here to experience the other end of the island. Beautiful and peaceful place to sit and have a snack, like grapes, from the fella at the end of the road selling fruit. Worth a visit if you have time to kill.

Built in 1891, the Armenistis Lighthouse is situated on the northern tip of Mykonos, overlooking the strait that separates the island of Tinos from Mykonos. Due to its high elevation, the location provides panoramic views. We had a sea level view of the lighthouse perched over the cliffs as our cruise ship left port. I’m not sure how long it would take to drive here from Mykonos Town, but I bet it would be worth the effort! Note that this is still a working lighthouse, standing guard over the island.
