Lovely lodge! Very nicely decorated, clean, had everything we needed. Which is a joy as usually dog friendly accommodation can be 'not so good'. Where it was located on the site was perfect given nearby gate to a bridal path for walking dogs in the morning and collecting newspapers from the on-site shop. Sun was on the decking all day and the outside furniture was well used given we had excellent weather. A gate to the decking area meant we didnt need to worry about the dogs wandering off! No need to leash them outside! Bed really comfortable. Kitchen had everything. Lounge area comfy. We really cannot fault this accommodation at all! Outside of accommodation, we used the main site facilities, which were very good. Very child friendly and will book again and take grandchildren. Wider than the site, really good location for different beaches including dog friendly one's! Highly recommended accommodation.
We have just returned home from a weekend stay at Warmwell where Birch Lodge was our home from home.
We read fantastic reviews prior to booking which prompted us to choose this lodge - and it lived up to expectations in every way.
The lodge is spacious, with two twin bedrooms and a master bedroom with en-suite. It was the perfect size for our family (consisting of 2 adults, 2 teens and a pre-schooler). It is beautifully decorated and has lots of little quirks that add to the character of the place. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there is also a washer-dryer. There is lots of storage space for clothes and luggage.
The lodge is situated in a very peaceful part of the park, and we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda soaking up the atmosphere and wildlife.
The park itself is very tranquil, and boasts three fishing lakes - with free roaming deer and ducks. There is an entertainment complex and outdoor activities, which we didn't see much of this time round but will definitely explore these more next time we visit.
The park is also very close to lots of amazing tourist attractions. It is a 15 minute drive from Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Weymouth beach - all of which I would well recommend.
We loved everything about our stay and are already planning our next visit !
Arrived to a beautifully clean lodge. Had a question on a arrival and one phone to Anita and it was sorted straight away.
Lodge was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Even the bedrooms were spacious and all beds comfortable.
We had beautiful weather for the weekend meaning we could sit on the decking and relax in the sunshine. The lodge was in a quiet position about a 10 minute walk to the entertainment complex.
Would highly recommend staying in this lodge and warmwell especially with children. We stayed on site all weekend and had plenty to do.
Warmwell what can I say!! Love, love this place, we had been lucky to be upgraded to a larger lodge above the ski slopes, and it didn’t disappoint! Lodge 165 was perfect and very quiet, spotlessly clean and it helped that the sun was out and it was hot, as I’d broken my toe on weds night before our visit so I couldn’t go far but that didn’t matter as we were happy to stay on site, we have stayed here before and have never had a problem with accommodation but this upgrade was perfect so thank you warmwell it’s been a pleasure
I booked a 3 bed Lodge at Warmwell Holiday Park in June 2017 and it was a great success. The accommodation was clean and well looked after within a peaceful woodland setting. The resort includes a dry ski slope, roller rink, swimming pool, crazy golf etc, and has a bar and restaurant, a takeaway, plus some excellent evening entertainment. Weymouth and a host of other places to visit are nearby. Highly recommended. Paul Jonsson, Woking.
