Felt like a home cooked meal. I had the Nasi Lemak with beef rendang. Nice and spicy. Great friendly service. Casual surroundings.

Delicious Malaysian food ..with teh tarik n teh ais. We had a gud time over there..chit chatting with nice and positive Malaysians operating the cafe. Had lunch outside the cafe..before departing to Auckland.

I'm still blown away by the tasty delicious food we ate at this venue. The staff and interior are inviting, immediately felt comfortable, and well-explained choices, the food was spicy and beautifully cooked. Highly recommended.

What a lovely experience💕 Authentic foods, scenic ambience of the Remarkables and friendly service crew. For vegetarians, on a budget, check out their crispy vegetarian curry puffs, For those craving a more substantial Malaysian brekkie, try the Nasi Lemak (coconut-milk infused savoury rice with condiments like crispy anchovies , boiled egg, spicy-sweet chilli and sliced cucumbers). You can add chicken rendang as well! YUM 😋 For dessert, there are assorted cakes and my favourite kuih keria (mashed sweet potato balls in a crusty sugary glaze).

I understand the Cafe is widening their menu so do look out for great developments. I’m sure they’re open to suggestions of authentically Malaysian food that you’d like to see on their menu.

Overall this was a special find in Queenstown, so close to the airport. Fantastic hospitality, yummy food, and a true haven of comfort away from home❤️
