Great place to stay for 5 nights

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 11 May 2024
The welcome on arrival was so friendly, We had a corner suite that looked over the mountains. It was spotlessly clean, very cosy and comfortable on a chilly night, PJ'S restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the Quest and the food is 10/10. The only negative was we also looked over a construction site which spoilt it a little bit.
Date of stay: April 2024
Room Tip: There were quite a few people staying at the Quest but it was so quiet you would never have known

Be aware ... you will be 7 km from the CBD at the Quest Queenstown. They do not guarantee parking. When asking for assistance with this the desk is un attended after 9pm or thereabouts. Make a call on the intercom instead as advised and was greeted by the RUDEST guy who pretty much said sort yourself out... All this for $350 per night. What a joke... Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else closer to town..... (Like somewhere that is actually IN Queenstown)

Room tip: A long way from town

Beautiful facility in Frankton, a rapidly growing area less than 4 miles from Queenstown proper. The apartments are fully equipped with kitchen, washer/dryer, all thoroughly modern. Staff is friendly and responsive. Free, close-in parking. A host of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to superior hiking and biking trails. Next to Q-Town airport, with Air New Zealand flights in addition to helicopter and scenic plane tours.

Room tip: Take shuttle, taxi, or Airbnb into Q-town and avoid the stupendous parking hassle.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, quiet, and quite spacious. It was so nice to have a place where we could do laundry within our apartment. The drive to Queenstown was tough during traffic times, but that’s to be expected. The only disappointing thing about Quest is that they have an allotted number of free parking spots, which seemed to not be enough for all of the guests staying there (when we were there at least). If all the Quest spots were filled, then guests had to pay for parking nearby. Other than that, our stay was great!

We wanted this location for this visit as opposed to many other places we have stayed in Queenstown. So with a big demand on places we secured two nights at a reasonable price in a studio room. Spacious clean, dishwasher, cooking facilities, washer dryer all you need. Litte vista from a small window. If we could have had a studio balcony that would have been great. But we did have mountain side view room from our small window. Service was great they allowed me a slighty later check out, offered me an umbrella, and looked after my bag while I awaited my flight. Great free parking on site. Walk to shops and airport and the lake and river. Recommend.

Room tip: Room with a mountain view balcony would be the best

This is a lovely Hotel, super clean, great management, rooms are well designed with excellent quality from toiletries to washing/drier combo. The best shower head and screen and the underfloor heating is lux. Nicest place I've ever stayed in my 60 plus years of travel. So close to supermarket and restaurants. 10 out of 10!

Room tip: Queenstown itself is so busy with paid street parking, just up the street is supermarkets shops like Kathmandu, kmart and others.
