The DOC information refers to 2 hours return, however it is only an hour return. Lovely walk through native bush ending at a waterfall that while lacking in height makes up for this in breadth

From the car park area the walk to the falls is, depending on your abilty, from about 45 minutes to an hour return. It is a pretty easy track and ends in a beautiful spot. The falls are wide rather than high but well worth the visit.

Short easy walk there through bush. Got there & WOW! Just as I was told , outstanding.

Sat around for what seemed forever before dragging myself back up the track.

A MUST SEE in Westport.

Its a pretty easy track while you're going to the falls but a little harder coming back as its more up hill. Shady lush bush to walk through and the falls are lovely. People were swimming while I was there but I thought the water was too cold.

This is a beautiful walk through lush forest and ends at the gorgeous waterfall, a lovely place for a picnic.
A great spot to visit and suitable for children to walk as our three year old daughter easily walked there herself
