This was my second visit. The food that I had during my first visit in August 2019 was great. However the food served during my second visit was cold,the fried potato was not crispy at all. There were many flies and management didn't care to notice.

Excellently maintained property and very authentic experience. Food was also great. I expected the Bengali food to be good, but was surprised at how good everything else was. We got a staff member assigned to us for our stay who was amazing. Would definitely come back again, inspite of the approach road... Which is narrow and though a village. Not uncomfortable, just a bit of a tight squeeze.
They have many different types of rooms. The main building ones are large and old and offer an authentic experience. They also have other more modern rooms overlooking the pond and Lake. So something for everyone

I like very nice this place. Wonderful ambiance & peaceful place. There are very nice hospitality. People are very good behaviour. Most important thinks I like, this property is pet friendly. I obvious like to again visit this place with my pet.

Well maintained palatial property replete with history. The entire property has a lovely rustic charm and the staff are doing a very good job of maintaining it. They were courteous and efficient despite the weekend rush. There was a corporate event which could have been a bummer but was well managed thankfully. Our room wingman (Subhojit) was very helpful, kudos to him.
We travelled with 2 young kids but had no challenges at all. Food in the dining area was fantastic, specially the thali lunch. The evening musical arrangement was mesmerising and added a special touch to my parent’s anniversary. It’s within easy reach of Kolkata and we would definitely recommend it.
