A great find… if you are looking for a laid back and peaceful hideaway close to unspoiled beaches and several attractions of the Costa Brava (including the 'Dali Triangle') then this is the choice for you. Juan Carlos and Jordi run a wonderful B&B with six elegant rooms and a lovely garden with pool. Breakfasts were a treat, and so was the friendly service throughout our stay. Location is excellent, too, about 45 mins drive from Girona airport, and less than two hours from Barcelona. And there are some great restaurants nearby in L'Escala. We will surely be back!

Room Tip: Room 1 is wonderful; if you need even more space then the Suite (room 6) is just perfect. And all are tastefully decorated.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very friendly, very professional and have very good taste. If you don't care about actually staying on the coast at a resort hotel, then this is a great place to stay. Very quiet, laid back elegance. Would rate it five stars except the beds were a little on the small side and not a comfortable as beds we has slept in at last three places on our visit. Bathroom is large, which is a nice touch, especially after feeling squeezed for bathroom space in last two hotels we've stayed at. Highly recommend and would be especially nice for extended stay in CB.

Room Tip: We liked havig room on back side of the hotel, facing garden and swimming pool.

Our driving holiday through France and Northern Spain had been planned around L'Hort de Sant Cebria which had been recommended to us by friends who stayed in 2014. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely bedroom with two balconies overlooking the pretty garden - it was large, comfortable and stylishly furnished with a very large en suite shower room. Juan Carlos and Jordi were friendly, welcoming and absolutely delightful. They both looked after us exceptionally well - even leading us on 3 occasions to restaurants after we got hopelessly lost finding a restaurant on our first night! They were extremely well organised, giving us maps marked with the places of interest and recommended restaurants. The house is elegantly furnished, the pool and garden beautifully looked after and the delicious breakfasts on the terrace were a treat. There are many places of interest to visit and lots of excellent restaurants in the area. We stayed for six nights and hope to return.

We have just returned from a week at L'Hort de Sant Cebria celebrating our honeymoon. Juan Carlos and Jordi were very welcoming and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to see whilst in the area. They also have two lovely dogs who had warmed to us by the end of the week (we think!)

We stayed in the suite, so we made meals for ourselves on two or three occasions, but mostly we went out in the evening. Sant Pere Pescador has a good pizzeria, and there are some excellent choices in L'Escala. Juan Carlos recommended Mas Concas on our last evening, and it was wonderful.

It was a brilliant house with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday in a lovely area of Spain. I highly recommend going to the monastery at St Pere de Rodes - great location with stunning views.

An absolutely beautiful home, with every single detail attended to by Juan Carlos and Jordi, the perfect hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful and a superb start to every day. Lots of guidance with restaurants and ever helpful with all the little details and requests that crop up. Quiet village in perfect reach of airport and the attractions of this lovely part of Spain. The incredible review profile is entirely appropriate and accurate.

Room Tip: The suite was superb - our son and his girlfriend joined us and the rooms were perfect.
