We booked 4 rooms and we were really happy with all - although they were of a different standard. Each though was beautiful. The quality of the furnishings, fittings and toiletries was amazing. I did miss a biscuit with my tea though... The parking area is very small, but we got there early so no problem for us and enjoyed a drink in the bar. The food in the restaurant is superb. We will visit again.

Room tip: Room 20 has a roll top bath in the room, and a big walk in shower too.

If you are looking for an impressive place then look no further..!
The building itself is stunning and beautifully restored, we had a Playground Suite which was gorgeous, super modern in a beautiful historic building.
The bar area and restaurant are very top end too, quality throughout - costly but well worth it, I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

Our second year in succession and our last!

Unfortunately not a good standard, I would not expect processed ham sandwiches, Grated cheese sandwich and tuna for the price and standard meant to be on offer!

Santa was great but that was it!

To cap it off when we asked for some milk for a toddlers bottle they brought a bill for £2.00!

Dear miggey

Many thanks for taking the time to write following your visit to us for Festive Afternoon Tea on Sunday.

Thank you for your positive comments about Father Christmas. I was, however, sorry to hear that our event did not live up to your expectations in other ways. We have taken your comments on board about the contents of afternoon tea and shared these with our head chef.

It was a really well-attended event with extremely positive feedback about service delivery and atmosphere so I was disappointed to read your comments.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write and we hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back in the future.

With best wishes from the team at Oddfellows On The Park.

Visited Oddfellows on the park for afternoon tea to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday and it was lovely. The staff were really nice and made us feel so welcome, they didn’t rush us at all which made it more relaxing. The room was nicely decorated and the chairs were so comfy!

The food was lovely, there were 4 finger sandwiches each, and they accommodated a vegetarian with no trouble at all. Then there were 2 scones each, with and without raisins and the jam was really nice. We also had a lemon drizzle cake, a chocolate and salted caramel torte with a macaroon on top.

They also sent out the truffles with a happy birthday message and my granny was really touched by that!

We stayed for 2 nights and cannot fault it. The hotel is stunning and the staff and service was faultless. The rooms are beautifully designed with lovely quirky elements which we loved. We had dinner in the restaurant with friends and the food was on par with a top restaurant in London. The breakfast was fantastic too and even drinks in the bar is a great experience with a great array of drinks to choose from. The Christmas decorations had just been put up so the place looked magical too - highly recommend it!

Dear Lydia M

What a lovely review you have left; thank you so much for taking the time to write and share your feedback with other visitors.

I have passed on your kind comments about the faultless service delivery and beautifully designed rooms. We were delighted to hear that you enjoyed drinks and dinner in our restaurant, The Galloping Major, and that the food was on par with a top restaurant in London. I have shared this with our head chef, Ross Chatburn.

The hotel does indeed look stunning at the moment with the Christmas decorations up. We are very fortunately to have such a beautiful building to share with our guests.

Thank you again for writing and we hope to see you again soon.

With best wishes from the team at Oddfellows On The Park.
