I was reluctant to write a review as we love this site and didn't want it to become so busy we can't book in!
We have now visited this site three times over the last nine years. This was our first visit since it has been taken over by Capfun.

There has been a large amount of investment in the site, but the negative side of this is that leisure space had been lost, the tennis court is now a swimming pool and the sports pitches now have more caravans on them. Having said that the investment in the pool and playground had enhanced our stay even more. There are also lots of new caravans of varying facilities and sizes which is a bonus.

We had a three bedroom caravan, there was a mix up in translation from our booking agent on arrival, with our request to be on a quiet part of the camp. However this was quickly rectified by the reception team. There was a dishwasher and air-conditioning which we didn't expect, but was very welcomed.

The carabouille playhouse was really good, and comparable to other Capfun sites. This was new and kept our child entertained. There are also a couple of smaller play areas.

The improved pool area has a new pool, splash area, and four new slides including a spacrbowl. These were all in good condition, but the safety light on the spacrbowl wasn't working. The other two high slides could also benefit from safety stop / go lights. The 42 step climb to the new slides kept us fit! The steps can get slippery from the water and the handrail is limited.
We spent a huge amount of time at the pool. There is also an indoor pool with changing rooms and toilets.
Our only complaint about the pool area is that Capfun have removed the sun loungers and there are only chairs which aren't any use for lying in the sun. Let's hope they bring them back, as they've disappeared from the caravans too.

The bar and restaurant is great, food is cooked to order and is always hot. Range includes burgers, modules, pizzas, salads and steak. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are very friendly. As it was early in the season, some of the mocktails weren't in stock yet, but this is quite normal early and late in the season in our experience. Food can be taken back to your accommodation as well.

Locally there is a large supermarket next door and it's only a short walk into the town and down to the harbour, where there are more bars and restaurants. Local market is on a Monday, but we found it limited compared to high season. We hired bikes from loca velo as usual so barely used the car. Lovely forest to walk around in the shade with an optional fitness trail.

We are already planning next year's return trip

We have been to France twice a year for 11 years now.
This is by far the cleanest, friendliest campsite we have been to!
The location is second to none!
Everything you need is within walking distance : large super U, Beach, lovely harbour , shops and restaurants.
Thankyou Le Curtys for a lovely holiday.
We will defiantly be back.

We went for a two week trip to Le Curtys and had a very good time. The campsite is situated 1 1/4 mile of the coast and a 0.5 mile of the down town Jard sur Mer.
The Super U, supermarket, is next to the campsite as well as the gas station.

When arriving it takes a very long time for them to set you up in one of their houses. When you finally get a area map, you can figure out yourself where to go. It seems that the campsite switch to a fully rental campsite with out having any pitches left. All of the toilet area's and bathroom area are closed off, but still smell. (you don't want to have a place next to these areas)

The total campsite was not well maintained, roads in need of repair, some areas have a lot of gravel (dangerous for kids) The area around the rental homes were in a bad shape, some had no grass other to much. You could see that is was not well kept.

The rental homes were in a OK status, clean but missing several items which we had to write down and give back, at the front desk. Two weeks passed and none of these items were brought to our home. So, no follow up..

Pools are divided in to three areas with different depths. I think i counted 9 slides which are all very exciting for the kids. Excellent area. Beds and chairs enough when we stayed during the peak season. There are guards, but they they don't do there job well. No drinking, no eating at the pool area.

The campsite has several playgrounds and for all ages.

Animation, if there is any, is very poor. Only some off the staff is able to help you out in english.

Room tip: Stay away from the old toilet and bathroom area, they smell.
