“Cosy retreat”
Reviewed 4 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

The Groom's House is just what it says on the website- a lovely, cosy retreat in a very peaceful location but with easy access to the surrounding countryside and cities. It is kept well, clean and has everything you need for that restful holiday. The owners are really nice and helpful too!

“A place to get away from it all”
Reviewed 21 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We spent a long weekend here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What a beautiful place. The cottage is comfortable and so very clean. The welcome from Rosemary and her family made us feel at home.
The wildlife was adorable, the barn owl, deer, woodpecker and many other birds kept us entertained.
We spent time sitting by the river watching the world go by while enjoying the bottle of wine left by Rosemary to help us celebrate.
Really don't wasn't to share, would like to keep this place a secret.
Thank you Rosemary for sharing you little corner of heaven with us.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting....perfect for resting and relaxing. Well placed for exploring and contained everything that we needed. Lovely owners too and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning!

“Superb location to explore Worcestershire by car & bike.”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Superb location to explore Worcestershire by car & bike. Riverside walks nestled between the Severn and Avon with glorious Malvern Hills framing the horizon. Fresh farm produce nearby; fuel, shops etc 10 mins away. Would love to spin Groom's house by 90 degrees to make the most of the intoxicating views, but all considered, a very relaxing and chill ambience!

“Lovely property in an ideal location.”

We had a lovely short break at The Groom's House in October. The cottage was clean and well decorated and the perfect size for a couple. Parking was easy, right next to the cottage, and the grounds are peaceful and well maintained, with lovely views and near the river.

The location is ideal, enabling easy access to Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. We were in the area to attend the Cheltenham Literature Festival, but also visited Gloucester and some of the smaller towns.

There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants locally, as well as a farm shop. A visit the local church, by the property entrance, is also highly recommended.

The directions provided were most helpful, and I would not hesitate to recommend The Groom's House to anyone looking to visit the Cotswolds.
