This Logis is a real gem. We were very pleased to have found such a lovely hotel in a really nice spot by the side of the Seine. We had an aperitif on the grass near the bank of the river and watched some of the boats going by. A railway passed reasonably close by but it did not disturb us in any way. Our room was very comfortable with our bathroom and separate toilet off a small hallway leading from the bedroom. The food was excellent too. The staff were very welcoming and friendly allowing me time to speak in considerably less than perfect French.

Lovely location by the banks of the Sein but it goes down hill after that. Service shoddy and the evening meal very poor standard for 30 Euro a head. The ‘amuse bouche’ was something I would have considered giving to my cat and that was the only amusement I could take from such sorry piece of fish. The manager was unwilling to take feedback and simply responded that everyone round their neck of the woods liked the cuisine. Not helpful when you’ve been served lacklustre food at a high price. Won’t be returning.

Stayed here twice because of the wonderful location.
The place has a tired air of glories past. Nowadays it looks closed, with a rundown feel to it.
The rooms are overpriced and need a makeover.
Yes the hotel has a quaint, old worldly charm, but that is no excuse for complacency.
And the food is distinctly ordinary.

Hotel is nice in a eccentric French hotel way. Traditional and a little dated but it's absolutely wonderful and if you are not looking for homogeneous sterility this is the place to come.
This could be used as a base for the area. Town is on its uppers a bit and nothing much to see in the immediate area except in the hotel.
Host and hostess are lovely and the restaurant is a must. Very nice food , a little pricey but worth it. Host is bonkers but endearing.
We were just passing through but would come back

We stayed one night here on our way back from Spain and chose it from the excellent Logis book. We hadn't booked and we were concerned that it might be full. As it happened there was only one other couple staying so we had a choice of rooms and decided to pay a little extra for a room with a view over the Seine - excellent decision! The room was more like a small suite and had a view over a beautiful section of the river. It was a real surprise to be woken up early in the morning by large barges chugging their way along the river.
We also had our evening meal at the hotel which, considering the limited menu was very good.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall a memorable, but slightly expensive, overnight stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a river view
