First visit to the Costa Blanca and Servigroup Hotel La Zenia is now right at the top of our best-ever hotels list. It’s smack bang between two beaches, each one with a great beach bar, and has its own extensive and very smart outside seating, swimming and sunbathing area.

The hotel has a happy holiday feel; it’s friendly and bright and standards are high. Our good-size room had plenty of storage and a balcony with a view of the sea, palm trees and busiest beach. The self-service restaurant offered a tasty and varied menu with wines, typically €10-12, served to our table.

The crowning glory is the big and stylish art-deco Bar, in classy turquoise and with colourful lantern decorations. Prices here, too, are reasonable and the nightly entertainment was mostly good, especially the wonderful professional dancers. We also enjoyed drinks served outside.

Don’t miss visiting the impressive La Zenia Boulevard and Cabo Roig marina. The hotel’s efficient receptionists will call a cab for you.

Had a lovely stay here for 3 days. Very quiet and relaxing. The hotel guests were quite old but I didn't mind as I wasnt looking for a wild stay anyway!!
The hotel staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help with queries.
The buffet was very nice in the restaurant, however I felt like the food was only on the warm side not hot at all. Location and views were brilliant too.
Enjoyed our stay but wouldnt rush back.

First holiday on my own and I chose this hotel as I have stayed here before with family. As a female i felt safe the whole time I was here and had such a relaxing time. The food is amazing. I had previously had bed and breakfast here but as I was alone I didn't fancy going out to eat on my own so booked half board. So much choice and very high standard. All staff were friendly and I didn't feel awkward going into the bar in the evenings by myself. The room was as fantastic as ever, views are spectacular. No rushing for a sunlounger here, great pool area. I can't wait to return already.

We stayed here last Easter for 5 nights and have booked to return in July 2020 for 11 nights. There was a great variety of food for the 4 adults and a fussy 6yr old (who loves fish and doesn't eat meat). The staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were a bit dated but very clean and the only downside was that there was no tea making facilities in the room or facility to hire a kettle. The view and the beach were excellent. We have been to La Zenia for the past 10 years during August and it's a great family orientated area with an excellent shopping centre within walking distance.

Staff so friendly and hotel first class. Food excellent and lots of choices. Had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel and I would certainly recommend this hotel and hope to come back again to enjoy the relaxing break. Many thanks to the wonderful staff. Bev

This was my second visit to La Zenia but my first to stay in the La Zenia Hotel. This large hotel structure dominates the vast beach and is located about a kilometer from the original 'town centre' which I first visited in 2012.

Much has changed in the village of La Zenia which was by and large a combination of new build communities of expatriates from sundry European countries with shops and pubs that service them. . It could loosely be described as a popular retirement destination and holiday resort. However now with its enormous shopping centre, large beach and hotels it could be defines as a serious tourist town.

My visit was to surprise a retired friend so incognito residence in the La Zenia hotel was part of the plot. The hotel reception was chatty, efficient and as ever tolerant of those of us that assume everyone we deal with must speak our language.
Our bedroom had a balcony and a comfortable bed but it was the restaurant that was the most pleasant surprise.
We had booked the deal that included breakfast and one meal, either lunch or evening meal. We opted for the evening meal.

The sheer scale and layout of the bright Restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. At once it immediately looked inviting and by contradiction intimate. Island spaces were cleverly allocated to facilitate the self service zones and the 'help yourself' array of very creative starters and deserts were almost overwhelming. This had the advantage of limiting the service counter queue for main courses that often accompanies self service dining.
In addition to the restaurant there is a sizable bar with inside and outside service and most interestingly a nightly cabaret or performance for your entertainment.

Definitely a nice place to eat and sleep as the little noise that there is are sound of the Mediterranean or the outside guests of the hotel or the hotel pool area next door.

Room tip: Southern side rooms catch less conversation noise
