Really clean and friendly hotel , staff very helpful. At the end of Playa de Muro so not a huge choice of restaurants/bars unless you walk up towards Alcudia. Room was a little small but big balcony which given the weather was a bonus. Echoing other comments I find it strange that you don't have tea or coffee making facilities in room. Food is good but as it's a buffet style there isn't a huge amount of variety and queues at meal opening times can be very frustrating , particularly when trying to get coffee at breakfast. But good quality food. Small issues really , overall very good value and a good place to stay for families.

Always a nice stay at Las Gaviotas. Friendly staff making all efforts to make you feel at home. Great breakfast and dinner buffets. Nice and clean. The rooms are somewhat small, the suites are much more spacious and only a few €€ more. Try to get a room with evening sun.

The hotel and rooms are really nice, lots of space and modern design. The staff is super helpful and kind.

But the hotel has made some really weird decisions to make some extra cash. When paying for the dinner package (half board) you cant even get some water, you have to order and pay for regular water. Same thing goes for tea and coffee, there is no boiler in the room, which means that you need to go down to reception bar to pay for tea if you want some in the evening.

The restaurang is also insanely busy during breakfast and dinner, its like a zoo in there. Volume is loud and there are almost too many tables compared to the rest of the space. I was hoping that there were dinner slots like at other hotels, but everyone is literally waiting at the doors at 7pm when dinner opens.

Breakfast starts at 8am, which is a tad late, considering the amount of cyclists and the "sports oriented" hotel. Same goes for dinner, 19:00 is a bit late to have dinner. Better to have breakfast 7-10am and dinner 18-22pm.

The food selection is alright, it is clearly very focused on making the British and German tourists happy with a lot of cake and fried food, for breakfast as well as dinner. If you want to eat healthy, then it might be the wrong hotel to stay at (and area of Mallorca in general, its very very touristy and not a lot of nice places to eat).

On the flip side, its great with buffé if you need to eat lots of carbs for training, but its hard to fill up on more healthy choices, be prepared to have pasta and white bread day in and day out.

Room tip: Pick the larger suites if you are travelling with bikes.

Stylish nice and modern hotel, spacious and bright, very clean and all staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the big pools even so we couldn’t really go for a swim because the water was too cold,
Stayed 3 days, hotel buffet was fantastic with lots of choices and very good wines and great value. The restaurants close by weren’t so appealing beside one we highly recommend the “Fusion 19” it’s about 12 Min walk south along the main dual carriageway,
The hotel is not directly at the seafront you can’t even see the sea unfortunately which we weren’t aware of it when we booked, but still it’s very worth it
and especially young people loved it to have a quite relaxing time we had the impression.
