First class all around. Great spot in Barolo area for wine lovers and seeing some amazing countryside. Very comfortable accommodations and on premises dining is great. Professional staff. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward for a return visit soon.

All previous reviews pretty much sum it up -- this is a special place! We travel extensively and I usually arrive to a destination having done hours of research so that we can maximize our time and experience. Having read previous reviews about the assistance and recommendations the hotels provides convinced me to let the experts guide us....and did they! The effort that Denise and her staff put into your orientation packet and their recommendations resulted in 2 magical days of exploration, amazing meals and the best Piemonte has to offer.

All of the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, the world class service orientation of the entire staff and the culinary talents of the kitchen --- it was an experience we look forward to repeating with friends and family in the future.

Room tip: Our shower stall was on the small side, so if you have a taller, larger frame ask about the bathroom size before you book your room.

My wife and I stayed, along with a tour group from La Dolce Vigna, stayed for a week at the wonderful Hotel Castello. First, one could not hope for a more picturesque setting, a charming town with beautiful walking opportunities. Second, the Castello itself is charmingly outfitted: our room was outstanding, totally befitting a trip that will live in our memories forever. The owner/hoteliere/head chef par excellence Denise made us feel at home. Her staff is top-flight, and are there to attend to every wish. And (arguably) best for last, the meals are divine. Fortunately, our tour guide is also a superb sommelier, and so our wines were picked out for us. However, one will not be disappointed by the extensive cellar that pair the exquisite meals provided by Denise and her kitchen staff. Locavores, ya just can't get more loca (?). We would stay again in a heartbeat, and give Hotel Castello di Sinio at rating of 10+/10.

Our 5 night stay at Hotel Castello di Sinio was the highlight of our 5 week trip through Italy. This incredibly tastefully restored castle is perfectly situated to explore the Langhe region. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our room managed to preserve the history of the castle while providing everything you need. The grounds are extensive and gorgeous. Our dinner served outside in the garden the first night we were there was the most memorable of our trip. We dined at the hotel again on our last night there it was so good. The morning breakfasts, served outside in the gardens, were fabulous. We had Denise and her team arrange our itinerary for our stay, which we strongly recommend. We were provided with a wonderful driver (Gabriel) who showed us the beauty of the area and took us to the best restaurants and wineries to visit. Denise is an incredible chef. We also strongly recommend her pasta making class. We could easily have stayed a month.

We stayed six nights at the Hotel Castello di Sinio and it was a remarkable experience. Denise, the owner and chef, and her staff made our visit truly fabulous. Their warm and personal attention to detail was extraordinary.

The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. The room was very comfortable and Denise helped to make special arrangements to accommodate our needs. We had many wonderful meals during our stay in the Piedmonte region , but the very best dining was at the Hotel Castello di Sinio. Highly recommend both lodging and dining! You will not be disappointed.

Room tip: Make dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant. You definitely want to dine there.

Everything about the experience is thought out from the moment you enter the gates of the castle to the minute you leave.
The castle itself effortlessly takes you back in time. The wine is well above fine. The food is gourmet with clever hidden flavors that tantalize and the ambiance is out of this world - in fact it is directly from a sophisticated period drama.
The castle, we were told dates back centuries and it feels like it in the best and most glamorous way.
Well, well done.
