We arrived early evening after a day at Fantasy Island and the sea front. We were greeted by Chris, who was really friendly and welcoming. We were shown straight to our room which was clean and spacious. Timings of check out and breakfast were shared with us. Chris was kind enough to check if we needed an evening meal as the kitchen would soon be closing.
After getting comfortable we went down to the bar for a drink. We were welcome to sit at the tables in the restaurant or the sofas near the bar. While having a drink, we met Chris’ German Shepherd, Crumble. She was totally unbothered about us being there and was a super friendly dog.
Breakfast in the morning was great. While the menu is small, there is something for everyone. There was a large range of cereals available too. The only thing we’d improve about breakfast would be to have some quiet music playing; at times it seemed a little awkward when no one was talking. Some music would have eased this.
Overall this was a lovely stay and we’d definitely stay again.More
