Dear Allsons123,

Thank you for the kind review and for coming to stay at Ratua Island Resort and Spa. We are happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your holiday here and had a chance to enjoy the 60-hectare island where happy farm animals roam freely. Ratua’s house reef is truly an amazing spot with teaming with diverse marine life. Food is also something that many of our guests enjoy as it’s grown organically in Ratua and the neighbouring islands. Swimming with horses is also one of the well loved activity here and the horses love it too!

Again, thank you for your visit and we hope to welcome you again in the future!

Regards,
Ratua Team

Ratua Island is a really special spot. My family and I have recently arrived back after spending a week there. It's a perfect place to really slow down and recharge the mind and body. The pristine lagoon is sheltered and is teaming with fish, with snorkelling on the reef just off the beach. Huge turtles frequently poke their heads above the surface, and they are easily able to be seen in the crystal clear waters when you're out on a paddle board or kayak. Its a view you can't tire of.
The teak villas are uniquely simple, yet luxurious and blend in with the island environment perfectly. Meals are plentiful and delicious - I don't think I've eaten so well for a long time!
Finally, the staff, Bong, Eileen and the whole team were so kind and accommodating, especially for my daughter who unfortunately was a little unwell for a short period.
All in all a wonderful place - I can't wait to go back sometime soon.

Dear Julia,

Thank you for the kind review and for the recent stay with us. Indeed, the island is magical and rich with natural wonders that adds up to a fun-filled holidays. Here, guests can do as much or as little depending on preferences but one can’t resist the beauty of the sea life just in front of the villas - no need to take a boat ride to see the sea turtles and colourful marine life.

As for the accommodations here in Ratua, these are antique teakwood buildings facing pristine blue waters. Indeed a unique yet luxurious architecture allowing guests to travel back in time and experience the authentic Indo-Pacific island escape.

It was our great pleasure to have welcomed your family here in Ratua. Hopefully we get to embrace you once
again.

Regards,
Ratua Team

This is not your run-of-the-mill vacation location.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and slow-paced holiday to enjoy at
your leisure then this is the perfect place.
A beautiful secluded island providing first rate food, accommodation, service and water activities including swimming on horseback.
We had a magnificent holiday - a big thank you to the first rate staff.

Room tip: These are bungalows. Ask for ones closer to the main activities.

This place is amazing. We went with our two sons- 6 and 9- and stayed 7 nights. The location is stunning, food and staff great. We did a number of activities (horse riding, blue holes, crab hunting)-and also enjoyed the snorkling, and free beach activities. The staff were so accomodating of the kids- home made spears, fishing lines and a bday dinner for our son- with cake and a singing band! If you want to get away from the day to day in a stunning location- with a touch of luxury- I would highly recommend.

Room tip: We stayed in the Porcelain room which has direct beach access

We stayed for 6 nights in September in Crocodile accommodation. This was flat out one of the best places we've
ever stayed. Highlights: amazing, friendly and naturally caring staff; safe and beautiful swimming in a marine reserve; numerous stunning turtles, stingrays and copious fish on a wonderful reef straight off the beach; fantastic food with fresh local ingredients; wonderfully designed, private accommodation, very different and very special. Plenty to do or not if you just want to relax. It is an effort to get to but well worth it. Plus the profit goes to a foundation supporting local schools. We'll definitely be back. A stunning and well run paradise.
