This apartment is literally brand-new and I believe that we were lucky enough to be the first people to stay there?!
From the moment that you drive up to the main entrance it is very impressive. The reception area almost has a hotel-feel to it and checking in and obtaining the keys was just as smooth.
The apartment itself is large, has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a modern fitted kitchen, air conditioning and hi-speed broadband. The real 'wow-factor' though is the huge terrace area...The views across the rolling hills and out to the sea are absolutely stunning! Perfect for an early evening glass of wine or a cocktail, before heading out into the hustle and bustle of Marbella.
There is a lovely swimming pool only a short-walk away, although it can get a little busy in the morning (most people seem to disappear in the afternoon). We also drove past a handy supermarket nearby for those of you whom might prefer to have their meals at the apartment. On this occasion however we took the opportunity to get out and explore the area's food offerings, rather than dining in, but the apartment was certainly well-equipped if that is more your thing.
Overall it was a fantastic and relaxing few days. Having looked at similar places we were thrilled to get a great price too (£93 per night). I'm not sure if that is because it is such a new place but it certainly seemed like a steal?!
I would highly recommend Valley Heights as a place to stay and the owner (Holly) was extremely friendly and helpful. The next time I am looking to escape for a long weekend in the sun, this place will certainly be high on my list!
