Fun excursion from ferry to forest walk and groomed cave walk. Like seeing stars but underground. Interesting and surprising facts about the area and glow “worm.”

Todays trip to Doubtful Sound was absolutely SPECTACULAR! I would definetly recommend this to everyone. And dont be affraid if it rains, its even more beautiful!! It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I dont think my eyes will see anything like this again, Im seriously mind blown, and cant forget Paul the driver, what a great guy! Everything was just Perfect!!

This is the second time I have done this trip albeit 30 years ago. My partner had never done the trip. It did not disappoint, the weather was fantastic, the scenery spectacular and the crew helpful and informative. It was an awesome day out. If you are pushed for time in this area and tossing up between this trip and Milford, I would do this one hands down. I would recommend getting there a bit earlier to get a car park at the terminal. Parking is free. There is a cafe downstairs should you need to grab lunch to take with you or just for a coffee while you wait.

The tour was great . Very informative. I would suggest wearing insect repellent as the sand flies are hungry for human flesh.
