Overall good experience

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Sept 2024
Nice hidden gem in the Keys. Very centrally located to explore all of the Keys.

Room was so clean. Ana B didn’t great job every day! Grounds were well kept. Staff everywhere were awesome. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful. Maintenance came day one because our refrigerator wasn’t cooling. He immediately brought us bags of ice to help cool it down. We needed a can opener during our trip and the front office called him and he went to a storage unit to get us one and delivered it to our room. Exceptional customer service and care for the property.

Beautiful beach area and sunsets are great. Kayaks and paddle boards are an added bonus.

Highly recommend it. Only negative is the nearby traffic noise. We were in the premium waterfront rooms with small kitchen and those rooms are very close to the highway. Couldn’t hear it at night though. And they provide a sound machine in the room. However if you like to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view, you will have quite a bit of traffic noise. Overall though it was great!

Very nice little resort, had everything we needed and more. Loved the laid back feel of the property. Restuarant/Bar on site was wonderful! View from our balcony was awesome, the sun sets were the best. We had the Premium King room right on the water and it was great, the deck fit our needs perfectly. Free kayak/paddle boards and snorkeling right off the small beach! Would recommend for anyone headed to the Keys, if you want to relax and get away from the crowds yet be close to everything, this is the place!!

This was our first time at Lime Tree Bay Resort! We went with family and friends. We stayed in one of the townhomes which was very spacious for our crew. Lots to offer on their property. Kids enjoyed walking out the back door and being able to fish right off the private dock! House Keeping was on top of things with removing trash and making sure everything was up to par. Only suggestion I would make… tight quarters in the kitchen area. Cabinets were a bit hard to open to get items out of. A cutting board would be a good addition as well. Overall, great stay for our crew! Thank You!!!

Nice quiet room facing the gulf with large lanai. Beach and pool area provides plenty of chaise lounge chairs. Tasty breakfast and friendly service from all the workers here. I would recommend this resort style hotel to friends and family.

My wife and I have been coming here twice yearly for the last 4 years and love it. The front desk staff starting with Terry Ford, Terri O, Anja, Andrea and Robin are fantastic and will take care of anything you need.

Next is maintenance and cleaning, the keep the rooms and the grounds spotless, always smile and make you feel welcome.

The owners have done an outstanding job of making this resort a stand out in the keys.

Being a native Floridian, born in Key West, I love this location as it truly represents "The Keys", old school unlike what Key West has become.

The amenities are great with bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, boat dock, ping pong and beach front chess all included with tennis courts across the street and an air conditioned salt water pool.

And the gulf sunsets, they are spectacular.

They offer wonderful three bedroom townhomes on the canal, countless beachfront rooms, beachfront ADA accessible rooms and multiple suites to fit whatever your needs may be.

There's an onsite sports bar and restaurant with many locals to hang out with and boats rentals just steps from the front door.

Bottom line, we arrive, park the car and there's no need to go anywhere, although you're 15 minutes north or south from many outside activities and restaurants.

We love it here and will continue to make it our go to place for years to come.

Coming down from Boca Raton is a breeze, as it's a 2.5 hour drive and well worth it.

Thank you to the owners and staff for making all of our visits special, it's like our second home.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom townhomes for my husband and son’s birthday weekend and we had an amazing time ! We had 3 townhomes and they were great, my in laws had the accessible room which was so helpful. The rooms were well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. We loved our outdoor patio areas with bbqs, this was great to get the whole group together. The dock was perfect as well as having a pool right by our townhomes. We had friends that stayed in units nearby and we utilized the dock near the main resort to snorkel and swim. The only thing I would request is maybe a ceiling fan in patios downstairs would be helpful, otherwise no complaints. We had a beautiful stay at Lime Tree and highly recommend!!!
