The Saltings was very welcoming with a very helpful welcome pack and lovely heated floors. It was in a beautiful location and was very clean and appliances all worked perfectly. Deborah was also very helpful! Would definitely recommend The Saltings!

I have had the pleasure of staying at The Saltings on a number of occasions, it really is a fantastic place that is finished to a high standard offering a real 'home from home' feel in a great location.

The attention to detail from John and his team are second to none. Excellent booking and joining instructions, excellent welcome pack, excellent communications during my stay and a great property.

I could not recommend this property more highly.

We had a very nice 3night stay at the saltings and were very impressed by the presentation of this very comforatable & welcoming property. We had a very generous welcome package & although we never met anyone we still felt very looked after, the housekeeper was extreamly helpful & was on hand for any queries and also made very nice cake!
We visited for the christmas markets & decided to walk into bath which was a plesent 45 minute walk. The markets & bath town center itself are a great place to visit, it has a good mix of large chain shops & small independent retailers.
We became very attached to the saltings & did not want to leave, we would not hesitate in revisiting in the future & it would appear that every entry in the visitors book would agree too.

What a lovely cosy cottage. Refurbished to a very high standard. Perfect location for exploring the area and within easy reach of Longleat Safari Park. Wouldn't hesitate in returning in the future.

“Very comfortable with all the amenities needed”
Reviewed 19 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Great location for the bus route into Bath which saves driving and dealing with the hassle of finding parking. The spiral staircase is only for the agile ones - especially in carrying the suitcases up! Deborah was very helpful in responding to our queries

Glad you enjoyed the Saltings. Yes the spiral stairs are quite tight, which we state in our property details. As it's a small cottsge there is no room for a conventional stair case. Most guests find it to be perfectly fine and we trust it didn't distract from your stay.
