Drove here in a rental car from Agios Georgios South. At first, we took a wrong turn and ended up in the grounds of a super-smart hotel called La Grotta Verde where the views of the bay were stunning. I wish we had parked here, and gone for a drink to savour the view. Another wrong turn took us down a super-steep path and four of us had to bail out of the hire car so it could make it back up the incline!

Couldn’t find a car park, so ended up on a road slightly above the town and walked down to the beach. We noticed a couple of enterprising bars along the road that had a pool, sun beds and food/drink. We almost stayed, but carried on down to the beach.

There is a wooden promenade along the beach, lined with restaurants - many offering free sun beds if you are there. Prices were variable.

We ended up going back into the little town (not much there to be honest) to mooch around the supermarkets and get a gyros pitta for 3.5 Euros. All very pleasant.

The water is clear, the seabed is sandy. The sea was fairly cool (although still beautiful). In places along the beach, there are pebbles. At the end, beyond Black Rocks, there is a rusty shipwreck. It is quite rocky but still great for swimming.

Good food and plenty of sunbeds available for those who want to get a tan. If you’re interested into spending time in water, you will hurt your feet. It is very rocky and a bit dirty. Still okay for snorkeling if you go at deeper waters.

Nice sendy beach with shallow water lots of restaurants and sunbeds. Very crowded, but equipped with everything you need: eat, drink, watersports...

Lovely quiet beach. Nothing much there but very relaxing and peaceful
