Beautiful beach, amazing pool. Magda who works at the pool at is a lovely woman who was very friendly. As long as you buy a drink or three you can usd the pool and sunloungers etc for free. Very busy on weekends. Sea beautifully clear, but deep very quickly so be careful.

If you look for place where you can relax in quiet and serene place sourrounded by outstsnding nature this place is for you. The hotel personel was always kind, helpful and friendly. We were welcomed with breakfast although it was after breakfast serving hours.  Restaurant  was waiting for us with delicious food which was a nice surprise because we have been travelling whole night. Food in the restaurant was very good, with variety of healthy salads, vegetables and local specialities to choose from. The hotel manager was always available, taking care of every single and small details to make sure that our stay is pleasant and comfortable. There was many drinks to choose from in all inclusive bar and again staff were super friendly. The beach was clean and the beach service was included in the price. The hotel area is well designed, everything is clean, fresh and new and it was huge pleasure to stay there and soak in its elegance and splendor. It is a perfect place to relax and charge your bateries, 100% recommend it! I hope to be back there next year.

Very nice new hotel, very clean, nice nature and amazing gardens. Kakkos beach is in complex with kakkos bay, so you can jse their pool but you cant use their pool bar. Unfortunately, there is not much included in ultra all inclusive, there is just 1 bar and i didn't feel comfortable to go there all the time. You can't helo yourself with a soft drink, everytime you have to ask for the service. That was annoying but acceptable. Nice holiday anyway

Kakkos Beach hotel is one year old and therefore there are no problems with cleanliness and everything is working well - no problems f.e. with technical devices (TV, WLAN, shower, air condition). The main interest which I have normally look at very critical is the quality of food and service. And I can tell you there has to be an excellent management in the hotel because the service was excellent and all people very friendly, the quality of food (all inclusive) far better than expected. Although we like children (we have children and grand children) we enjoyed the "adults only" philosophy.

Room Tip: If possible book a Junior Suite which is a Maisonette with two showers. Open the curtain in the morning and look at the sea

It was not easy to get info on this one –I took the risk and went on my vacation without knowing anything about this place. Luckily, now I can fill you in, so you will know what to expect.
This is a new part of the Kakkos Bay Hotel. The reception is one for both hotels, but I understand that this might change over time.
Few buildings scattered around the (very well kept) grounds, lovely herbs and plants in between, nice infinity pool, beach bar, restaurant, and two part beach. –Take a look at the attached map for more details.
Overall, I must say that the vacation was awesome –very relaxing and nice place.

The food is delicious, fresh, fried, and cooked before your eyes, there's plenty of different things to choose from. Friday is sushi night and every day the options change, so you won't get bored. Loads of delicious local delicacies and I'm not just talking about moussaka, but lamb and other meats, seafood in various dishes, as well as veggie sides. Sunday morning you get prosecco with your breakfast. Did I mention the fresh OJ with breakfast every day?  Sure, some folks where complaining that there was no coconut, almond or soy milk –but really, is that necessary?

The Waiters are kind and don't suck up to get tips. They are quiet when removing your plates. Like to eat with a view? I love it, and somehow this is always a problem at other places, but not here. You'll always find a table on the terrace. No kidding. I'm just amazed that someone designed this place so well. Enough space for everyone. You're not cramped or in a hurry, although some guests can bring in the tense hogging maneuvers you might have experienced in other places.
Even at the beach there are so many sun beds that you can find a great spot any time of day. You're also about 2m away from the other sun beds and don't feel like a sardine. There is a small beach with access (stairs) to the bar and a larger one on the far right. Of course when you're a guest of Kakkos Beach you can also be at the Kakkos Bay part, although the lack of squirming kids and people yapping is what makes this a treat. There are times when kids appear in the water and on the beach (especially on weekends when more locals arrive). "Only the hotel is for adults and the beach is for everyone" -as our perky beach bed assistant explained.
Soft music oozes during the day both at the restaurant and beach bar. I'm not too fond of it being different in the bar and restaurant as it mixes into a schizophrenic noise at times, but I’m sure this will improve...

You need to know that this place is in the middle of nowhere –the transfer from the airport is very long and can be a pain depending on the conditions provided by your travel agency. There are a couple of markets down the road on the left if you need anything that they don't offer at the hotels’ shop. I would recommend renting a car for further explorations (hotel or place down the road) or at least take the bus to Ierapetra for a nice drink at the bay.

When it comes to the rooms, well…. we had the junior suite;) - absolutely fabulous! Two story with the best sea view from the bed. Bathroom, shower, closet, even TV both up and downstairs, yes that means two of each. Everything simple, tasteful and just right. Fridge restocked daily with water and soft drinks, and lovely complimentary cosmetics. Fine sheets and a proper king size bed for a couple, and more towels than you can handle. I know this is starting to sound too good, but keep in mind that the tiny, tight staircase can kill you if you have problems walking, and the bathroom and shower give practically no privacy as they are connected into a somewhat open-space with the rest. So if you guys are not used to each other’s physiology;) you might not feel comfortable with this arrangement. But I loved it!

Overall the vacation was great. Loved the ambiance of cool, and relaxed mood, no pressure or hurry, or stuck up attitudes.
Not much to complain about –maybe the a la carte restaurant could improve its menu… ;)
Oh and remember to take your swim shoes -the pebbles on the beach are soft but get really hot during the day ;)

I would love to come back!
