Great fun takes a chunk off your trip and a lovely experience
Sadly no getting out of your car but still recommended
Runs every 20 minutes so no long waits

Good quality for money as saves miles of driving. Excellent service and friendly staff. St Mawes is well worth a visit too - a gorgeous seaside harbour and chocolate box village.

This is a clean and well run operation taking people across the river Fal. We wanted to get to St Mawes without the long drive around so took this reasonably priced option.

It runs all year round and I think the Ferry goes back on forth on about a 20 minute turnaround so you are never waiting to long.

We walked from Devoran to Trelissick Landing where the King Harry Ferry sedately crosses the Fal River to Philleigh King Harry Landing on the other side of riverbank. The bright blue ferry runs at regular intervals throughout the day. On the day of our visit patronage was quite low, there were not many cars or passengers using the service possibly due to Covid 19 keeping people away. The King Harry Ferry is a great service in the particularly attractive area of Fal River.
