We had the worst room of the hotel!! 86€ for a room just nearby the road and that looked like an old and small part of the attic. No pictures of this one on the internet off course. Not refundable off course so that they are sure to make some money out of it! And of course no other room left available. A big big disappointment! To avoid!

We've stayed here for 5 days and we cannot wait to come back. It's the perfect place for relaxing and disconnecting, next to a gorgeous natural park and lovely beaches, and just a 40min drive away from Lisbon (a car is a MUST in this hotel). We booked the superior room, which is huge and so worth the little extra money. The building is a gorgeously rebuilt 17th century Manor surrounded by vineyards and lemon trees. We just couldn't wait to come back every evening to enjoy the lovely swimming pool!
The restaurant is excellent, with a different menu every night, and the staff is super nice. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful old historic building. Room was very dated but comfortable. Liked the pool area which was away from the hotel but had a bar and sun beds. Dinner was disappointing. A missed opportunity to serve local food and cuisine. Our dinner was the house speciality steak (the sirloin was not available and the waiter didn't recommend the pork dish). Lots of gristle so disappointing. Breakfast buffet was adequate and reasonably good. Continental style. This is a lovely old hotel with so much potential. Get a decent menu and chef and it would be exceptional.

We recently spent over a week at the Club D'Azeitao & enjoyed this peaceful hotel - we dropped in one afternoon before our stay & met a really helpful man on Reception who answered our questions & encouraged us to look around the grounds of the hotel
The grounds are very spacious & pretty with a tennis court, pool & gardens with loungers & two hammocks I did think that the pool was a little bit dirty / scummy - you can also walk around the grounds / vineyards
Dinner was very good with a very friendly waiter & can be served out on s pretty patio - breakfast had a good choice with lots of fresh fruit
The coffee wasn't great but I'm a fussy coffee drinker - the staff don't intrude on your peace but are helpful
Yes the rooms are a little dated but mostly clean - perhaps a bit more dusting might be helpful
Don't take a room in the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is loud Ask for a room at the back of the hotel
Parking is plentiful & free
There is a Pingo supermarket within walking distance & if u want a cheap glass of beer cross directly over the road & walk a short distance to a bar where a small glass of beer is .85 cent !
The village of D'Azeitao also has various restaurants in particular we found a great creperie called Freint A Fonte - great food & a warm welcome
My one comment would be to the Receptionist Miguel the grey haired man at the hotel - please go on a customer service course & learn how to be nice to the guests The other two men on Reception were so friendly, welcoming & helpful After a lengthy stay and after clearing a large bill all he could say gruffly was - " don't forget to give me back your key" !
A thank you &
I Hope you had a nice stay would have been nice Guess you can't win em all !!!
Despite the odd little criticisms I would return to this hotel 😀

Hotel had classic old European charm. The hotel clerk was very helpful in helping me track down my delayed luggage. Take time to explore the grounds in the back of the hotel. Lovely pool area. Room was very comfortable and clean.
