The overall experience was ok, sat at the small outside terrace with the ocean just a stone's throw away.
The 3 of us had come for a seafood extravaganza late lunch. The service is not that great once you have ordered they seem to throw the food down and walk off with no care.
Limpets - some quite "hard/chewy" no real flavour or seasoning.
Octopus salad - very tasty, very fresh.
Garlic prawns - some very nice others slightly mushy (sign of being frozen rather than fresh) in literally any other restaurant this dish is served with chilis in the oil to bring out the flavour, sadly not here.
They had run out of scallops but did have Zamboriñas which were done quite nicely.
Razor clams - "bit hard/chewy" sadly underwhelming & bland.
Mussels marinera - all 3 of us did not like the flavouring of the sauce on this dish. Tasted more like a weak curry.
Grilled Jumbo prawns - this was the redeeming dish at this restaurant & they were exceptional!
Please give some lemon wedges when serving this amount of seafood as we had to search out a waiter to get some.
All this with 1 bottle wine, 1 water, 1 beer + bread/alioli came to €121.

Enjoyed the most amazing seafood at this restaurant. The baby squid were sublime, and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were very generous too. I opened for some king prawns and a prawn and avocado salad, all of which were delicious. A friend had tuna and another had steak. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located on the water’s edge meant we could hear and watch the sea and the surfers. Great atmosphere and would definitely recommend booking so you’re not disappointed. This is a must visit if you’re in El Medano.

Even before you look at the wonderful view, the FOOD.... I'm not a fish person and was wondering what to have, but then I discovered the scrambled egg with prawns and mushrooms - the egg must have been scrambled in the juice from the mushrooms and the prawns because it was SO delicious! And then we also had the avocado stuffed with prawns and seafood, which was also amazing - see photos attached. The crispy prawns were good too. And I expect the fish was equally fine, if you like that sort of thing.

The location is great - the waves are splashing below you feet.
Food really below average, not well cooked, not seasoned. Avoid if you can.
