“A very pleasant stay - some improvements would attract 5 stars.”
Reviewed 3 March 2018 for a stay in February 2018

La Casita de Mi Hijo Pepe is located to the the North East of the Island among banana plantations, giving relatively easy access to the beautiful northern part of the island.

The accommodation is well equipped with well-designed living space. We had 5 people and were short of nothing. Good parking, plenty of terrace space and views out to sea. Nancy provided excellent communication prior to our stay and we were greeted and shown around by her helpful colleague Pili. Thank you.

There are however 3 comments that might influence some people. The property is advertised as having 2 bathrooms, and this is strictly correct. However the second bathroom is a shower and basin in an outside room, inaccessible from within the building. Secondly the hot water system did not seem to have the capacity for 5 people to shower one after the other and on occasions we were shocked, (literally!), by lukewarm turning immediately to cold! Obviously by staggering showers we overcame the problem and maybe we did not understand the technicalities, but a larger tank would improve the situation for what could be up to 6 people. And lastly WiFi. This was provided by piggybacking onto a neighbours system (a relative we think?). Naturally the signal was weak and speeds slow - at this level the provision of a dedicated system is essential in modern times.

None of these factors spoiled a very enjoyable stay.
