The hotel is located in a parklike area close to old marine facilities and the maritime museum. The hotel has recently expanded with a new pavilion with very modern rooms. The bed was excellent. The reception and restaurants ar on the ground floor in the old attractive building. The excellent breakfast had a traditional buffet and additional dishes could be ordered from a menu. A future stay in south of Oslo would be here and try out the traditional rooms.

This hotel is full of naval history residing within the premises of a former naval base, still close to the town center. Beautiful surroundings at the beach or in the forest and close to museums and other historical sites worth to visit. The old part of the hotel is filled with dignity, restaurant, bars and a nice terrace perfectly made for quality relaxation and the new and modern part with comfy rooms completes your stay.

Elegant and warm atmosphere in an antique building made for the Royal Navy officers' parties. Delicious breakfast and upper level dinners.
Loved the surroundings: the track around the peninsula, the museums and the village all at walking distance and into nature.
The family who runs it is the cherry on the cake.
New solid wood rooms in the building next to the main one, or charming old style rooms in the main.

+ Good location! 4 minutes by car from the harbour, close to nature.
+ Tastefully renovated property, high standards with old charm.
+ wow breakfast! Beautifully set table, yogurt served with homemade muesli and fresh strawberries.
One suggestion is to add room type for family.

Strongly recommended! Stay here and you will not be disappointed!
