We ate here twice on our 3 night stay in Santiago. The first time the lovely English speaking waitress went out of her way to find us a table on a very busy evening.
Food was great, fish soup best we have tasted.
Excellent service and friendly staff.

We were incredibly disappointed with our meals, particularly as the place was recommended. 3 of the 4 meals were returned, 1 was cold and incorrect, one was cold, one was undercooked. The 4th was at least hot, but served with no vegetables or salad and we weren’t offered the option to add these. Service was poor with no apologies for the poor quality. Worst meal we have had in our week on this island. Very very poor.

We had 2 weeks in Santiago and this was the worst food of our stay. We ordered the Fish of the Day for 4 people and it arrived hacked up and obviously fried in deep fat . ( 72 euros for 4). We went to pay the final bill of 160 plus euros and were told that the credit card machine wasn't working. Between the 4 of us we managed to find the cash and paid. A man waiting behind said that he had no cash, only his card. All of a sudden the machine was plugged in and it was working !!! We won't be returnng as there are far better places to have dinner which also include a lovely welcome.

A beautiful restaurant literally in a cave, with a strong love of food. We had the daily fish and it was excellent. Accompanied with delicious white wine from the canaries.
We ended up being part of a Spanish-Irish singsong with some locals, who celebrated a birthday. The whole evening was just a wonderful experience!

A must go to restaurant in Playa de Santiago!

We didn’t feel welcomed for a lateish lunch despite it being open for another hour beyond our arrival. The Sole was better than the Medregal, which may have been fresh rather than frozen but wasn’t a fresh as it could have been. Not an experience worthy of its claimed reputation.
