Delicious local food for lunch, excellent vegetarian options and very friendly 💚

What a fabulous lunch! This is a great little bar and restaurant run by a most affable and charming Italian man. We just wanted a light meal. My husband was thrilled to see a veggie burger on the menu (maybe even vegan), a rarity in La Gomera. Of course he had to have it, and , served with chips, he enjoyed every bite. I couldn’t resist the local grilled cheese served with palm honey and red mojo - so delicious! We saw some enticing looking desserts on display, and tried the raspberry panna cotta which tasted as good as it looked. A good cappuccino completed our meal.
Drinking only water, our bill including a tip was EUR29, not too much for an excellent lunch, and excellent service. This is definitely the place to eat at Playa de Santiago.

We went for lunch having had a couple of good breakfasts here. We ordered bread and mojo, gazpacho, ham and cheese, roasted veg and salmon tartare on guacamole. All of them were absolutely fabulous, especially the salmon. It’s as good a meal as we have eaten in the village, and we have been coming for 11 years. Can’t recommend it enough

Situated in the small plaza on the promenade amongst a few other restaurants and shops. We had a table in the shade and ate lunch here, our first since arriving in La Gomera and found the service and food very good. A nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a reasonable bill at the end. Would visit again 👍

With the open air seating in the middle of the village it was easy to stop by for a coffee. What others were eating made it a good idea to return for lunch another day - and that proved right. Helpful service got us to a tuna salad that wasn’t on the menu, and it was very good. Good value too.
