“Fantastic House”

Stayed for a week with my family. The house is in a stunning location not too far from the beach with stunning views. The house is large and very comfortable consisting of 4 bedrooms and a very large space upstairs with more space for children to play video games or for extra sleeping space. The sitting room has an open fire. The whole house is spacious and warm. Outside there is a lovely well kept garden with a built in barbaque and out door seating.I would highly recommend this holiday home it has so much to offer, spacious, spotless, and close to the beach and chocolate factory, fantastic stay.

“Perfect setting for family and friends”

With so much expectation in travelling to the Ring of Kerry we had a perfect week and Innisfree was central to that.
A long drive started from North London to Holyhead and then onto Co. Kerry. Be prepared for slow roads once you enter Kerry so ensure suitable supplies for the kids (family of 6)...
Innisfree was easy to find from the directions provided and we met our friends (a family of 5) on arrival. The home was spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor space for the kids to run around safely. With every rain shower there was an equal amount of sunshine so just have a shower mack close to hand.

Highlights:
- Amazing views of Ballinskelligs Bay and this can be closely reached through a field - Kids played all day on this and there is a lovely little cafe/shop near to car park if you choose to drive.
- The Garden - equipped with a BBQ and lovely bench the setting was superb for entertaining
- Golf - Waterville links is simply superb, very accommodating as a club house/pro-shop. I considered myself pretty handy but this course can change in a matter of minutes and proved a thrill and a challenge in equal measure - one of the best I’ve played across the UK & Ireland and the Iberian Peninsula...
- Boat trip around the Skellig Islands - Despite being the great grandson of a sea captain - I struggled. My kids loved it and the views off shore of the Kerry Cliffs (also worth a visit) were great.

Thank you very much for the wonderful memories....

“Wonderfully spacious with an amazing view!”

As two families with young children, 'Innisfree' was the perfect place for us. It had so much space, and was very well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The children all loved playing in the garden and exploring everything that the house had to offer. We spent most of our time in the local area and really loved the beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. We also really enjoyed our boat trip around the Skellig Islands despite a rather bumpy ride!! We ate some very tasty seafood at restaurants in both Portmagee and Waterville, both of which were extremely child friendly. Our husbands got to play golf at Waterville links course, which they both raved about, though they made sure they got an early tee off so as to avoid the more expensive costs! Finally, the owner Leesha was very helpful and particularly organised when it came to answering any enquiries that we had.

“Amazing views and space from a fabulous property”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed in Innisfree for a week in August and loved everything about the house. Spacious and comfortable, with two great living rooms, everything you could need in a kitchen, and four bedrooms all with sea views.

We loved hearing the sea as we went to sleep, using the telescope provided to look at the moon from the upstairs balcony, sitting outside on the picnic table in the evening sun enjoying beers, swimming on the nearby blue flag beach, eating in the Arts Centre 100 yards away, and drinking in the two local pubs a short walk away. There are loads of diversions in the house too, if you are less lucky with the weather than we were. I've rarely seen a holiday home that's more comfortable to just sit around, as usually they feel less 'homely'. But there's books, television, xbox... and many other things to keep you busy indoors!

The Skellig Ring is an amazing place to holiday, and feels undiscovered and 'hidden' from the coaches of US tourists that zip daily around the nearby Ring of Kerry. So you get the best of both worlds by staying here - you can explore the quiet and beautiful sights nearby, and also easily tour as much of the Ring of Kerry as you want.

Everything went smoothly communicating about the property, from start to finish. We've already recommended it to friends, and will be happy to stay again!

“Best house for families”

Brought my family and parents to this lovely house. An absolute ton of room and some of the nicest views in the country with two balconies providing stunning views of Ballinskelligs Bay. I've stayed in a couple of different places in Kerry before but none have either the views or the space plus unlike the other places there is lots of stuff to keep the kids entertained, such as board games, books, the Xbox and satellite TVs. It's only a couple of hundred metres to a couple of pubs, shop, post office and the beach so most things were only a leisurely stroll away.
Hope to be back again this year.
