We stayed here for a spontaneous weekend trip, so first it was, where do we get a room? At "Al Sole" we found a room on short notice in an area we liked to discover. The Albergo is easy to find and has a nice "amenity", it is only a few meters away from the Valle di Varda distillery! (if you like Grappa, very convenient). Offering enough parking space and nice rooms. The basement floor is very nice decorated and a real eye catcher for a 2-star hotel. You might be welcomed by the 10 yr old basset, a very friendly , old dog. If you do not like dogs you might not want to go here although this one is a real nice dog.
Rooms are offering enough square meters to feel comfortable and the bath room also has a proper size. LCD TV is standard. The hotel is offering breakfast, which is fine and tasty. No other fancy stuff is offered so the pricing is very moderate.
You are close to the city centre, restaurant availability is no problem (aprt from bank holiddays when many are closed). Id you are looking for a "no nonsense" Hotel, it is worth to go here.

We recently were staying with friends in Mezzolombardo, and were looking for wi fi service and appended upon Albergo Al Sole, the lady there was so very friendly and spoke English (which is a rare in this town) we were able To go daily and use her wi fi. The hotel was immaculate and very modern decor, I would have definitely have stayed there had I needed a room. She made us feel welcome every day we came. The view is breathtaking, vineyards across the road with the mountains in the back drop. In the evening the cool breeze from the river, close by makes for it comfortable to sit on the patio, or in the early morning the warmth of the sun. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Surprisingly bright and newly-renovated, with large rooms, good beds, lots of hot water, fast wifi, quiet situation and a good breakfast. Who could ask for more? Expensive, noisy Bolzano is not too far away, good restaurants are not far. We would happily return!

We wanted to explore the region of Trentino Alto Adige and wanted to stay in a basic, clean, and cheap hotel, and that is exactly what this hotel is. It's only one star, but the room was clean and comfortable with coffee making facilities, the bathroom was immaculate and fully equipped (bath and shower, hairdryer..) and the ladies running the hotel were friendly and exptremely helpful. The breakfast bar was laden with food, both savoury and sweet, so you could really fill up and didn't need to eat so much at lunch. 75 euros double room per night during the new year so obviously peak season.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The hotel is situated on the edge of a very quiet town, so they are all equally quiet and well-furnished.

Stayed one night during the last holidays. The hotel was recently redone and is very pleasant and absolutely spotless. Our room was quiet and the bed very comfortable... we had a great night sleep! Breakfast is nicely laid out with lots of choices. The staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. Definitely a good value!

Room Tip: we liked our sunny corner room
