Unfortunately we only stayed here for five nights due to availability but we enjoyed the experience immensely. Great location, lovely setting (very tropical) and friendly and helpful staff. A great place for a family as it was safe and relaxing. Would certainly return but maybe book a bit earlier.

Thank you for your nice review. Very pleased you enjoyed our location in the village plus our setting and staff. Sorry we couldn't offer a longer stay but we were very full around your dates. We would be happy to welcome you back but as you said please book a little earlier.

A nice friendly hotel in a good beachside location. Very good WiFi and laundry. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice sun loungers facing the sea. Pool was popular. A good choice in Fisherman’s Village.

We were a family group of 11 people and we stayed here for a week. I cannot find a single fault or a negative for this lovely little hotel.

Massive thank you to Robin and all your staff. They are all brilliant; friendly, efficient and clearly happy in their workplace. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We had a selection of rooms from the 2-bed family suite and beachfront bungalow to the double bungalows overlooking the pool and the beach. Everything was clean and comfortable. The air con was super-efficient and quiet. If I had to be picky it would have been good to have some drawer space but that really IS being picky!
Breakfast was more than adequate with a good varied choice and could be taken either inside or outside overlooking the sea.
The level of service offered here was outstanding, Ice cold flannels and refreshing pineapple were brought out to the loungers in the afternoon. Any ordered drinks or snacks were brought out to wherever we sat and delivered with a beaming smile.

What we found amazing was the location - our bungalows backed on to the busy and buzzing road and within a few minutes walk we were in the bustling village with it's plethora of shops and restaurants. However once through the entrance of the hotel we were in the tranquil garden , beachfront and overlooking the sea. It felt like stepping into another world, so peaceful. The Friday night market is the only time you will hear loud music from the street but this is actually enjoyable and it does finish at around midnight-ish.

The beach is definitely not the best on the island but even though we had grandchildren with us, this didn't matter too much as they spent all day in the lovely pool.

If you want a small, friendly, peaceful place to stay where there is no loud music played all day and where you will get looked after so well you will want to stay longer --- then look no further than The Waterfront.

All eleven of us would return in a heartbeat.

Thank you Robin and All your team!

Thank you very much for your splendid review and firstly may I say your group were a delight from the older generation to the young ones both polite and charming, our staff felt this too, Delighted you found virtually everything about the hotel so good.

Pleased you liked the proximity to the village but the general quietness here, excluding Friday nights. It would be lovely to see you all back one day. Also it would be great to have a few more reviews from your group as you all seemed so happy, it does help a small family run business so much.

We stayed for 4 nights and from check in to check out the service received was amazing. We will be singing the praises of the Waterfront to any friends thinking of visiting Koh Samui. A short 5 minute stroll to the Fishermans Village, the location allows you to dabble in the restaurants/bars/shops of the village at will and wander back to the serenity of the hotel pool/beach.

We booked a beach front room which was more than adequate for us. Double bed, Aircon and spacious bathroom. Little deck/balcony area out the front for reading during the passing rainstorms if visiting in monsoon season.

The daily breakfast is a great deal. As the title says, simple, but done very well. Certainly sets you up for the morning until the lunchtime hunger bells start ringing. Again the service for breakfast is great and very quick. As a comparison, we are now in Aonang and the breakfast is 350THB!

We booked two activities through the hotel reception (scooter hire and a half day island tour) and it was effortless. Service and communication by the staff of where to be when was great. Also used the free airport transfer service, again, simple and effective!

All in all, if you are staying in Bophut, then you could do a lot worse than staying here. Forget your big resorts with big drivethrough foyers and fancy bell boys. Waterfront is small and makes you feel you're the only guest staying right through your stay and devliers excellent courteous service everytime. Robin and Sue should be very proud of the team they have assembled here!

I would hope to return to the Waterfront Boutique again is a sweet little place and a million miles from the busier places such as Chaweng and even the hotels on the main road through Bophut.

Thanks for an amazing stay, we didn't want to leave, which says it all really!

We were made welcome right from the start with a complementary drink whilst the formalities of registration were completed. Our bungalow accommodation was clean and comfortable with a lovely view across the pool to the sea and distant islands. The hotel is situated right on the beach. The staff just couldn't do enough for us- and always with a smile. Two examples will suffice to illustrate this.
First, our granddaughter had an enormous (and I mean enormous!) inflatable duck for playing in the pool. Seeing her start to try to inflate it by mouth one of the ladies said "Don't do that- leave it to us". 15 minutes later she brought it back not only inflated (they have a pump) but also they'd found a puncture in it and repaired that too. Granddaughter delighted.
Second, we had planned a day out on a hired scooter but in the event the hirer let us down. We returned to the hotel and asked if they could help. "When do you want it?" "Well, now if it's possible...." Five minutes later one of the staff appeared with a better scooter than the hirer had had, at a comparable price- day saved!
To all the above I should just add that the breakfasts and lunches were excellent with a varied menu of local and western dishes.
Highly reccommended!

Room Tip: Not all bungalows- there are other rooms too but I think all have a sea view

Thank you for your very nice review of the hotel. Glad you liked our location with our lovely view. Thank you very much for your charming comments regarding our staff. As I have said before our Thai people do react much more to charming people. Also thanks for returning your key. We hope to see you again one day.
