The hotel is a perfect choice for people who are planning to do a roundtrip in Puglia. The service was a great, and the staff was very friendly. The room had a nice balcony, so it was perfect to rest a bit. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a week at the Ruri Pulcra and couldnt have been better looked after. A lovely hotel with an elegant dining room. The food prepared by our marvellous host was the best we ate during our week stay in Puglia. You will have a lovely time!

We discoverd Ruri Pulcra Masseria last year and liked it so much that we went way out of our way to make a return visit this year. My wife in particular likes the food preparation of Rino the chef. Even for breakfast he presents a stunning table of delicious food. Unfortunately for September of 2014 the dining room was closed and Rino was preparing meals at another restaurant that they own 800 metres away.

We were able to get our same room on the first floor which opens up to a large patio with umbrella and clothes dryer.
The Masseria is only a few years old, so everything is very new and in excellent condition.
The farm is surrounded by olive groves and there is a nice back road that you can walk along. One of our favourite beaches (Pescaluse) is just 10 minutes away.
Wifi is free with excellent signal strength. We hope to return again some time soon!
iIghly recommended

Room Tip: All the rooms are different. All have balconies, but some are small and some look out into the courtyard. If you want a large patio, select one of the two ground floor rooms overlooking the olive groves.

We enjoyed a dinner at Ruri Pulcra because it was recommended to us by friends who live in the area. We didn't stay at the hotel but based on the meal that we had I wouldn't hesitate to check in for a taste of their excellent service and charm. Our dinner was served in a beautiful terrace and our delicious food was complemented by the lovely surroundings.
This isn't a cheap night out; our group of 8 dropped a pretty penny on our food and wine, but it is most worth it. When in Puglia, I would recommend forgoing the chaos of Santa Maria di Leuca and the beach areas. Check out the Ruri Pulcra either for lodging or just for an elegant dinner. It's a stone's throw from the beaches but is peaceful and welcoming.

This was a cycling tour and the last km to inn was uphill but worth it! Delicious food and fantastic wine, white, rose and red (my favourite negro amaro). The room had lovely decor with comfortable bed, balcony overlooking beautiful garden. Excellent service, staff friendly. I would go back and stay a few nights, using it as a base for cycling around the area.

My husband and I were part of a 12 person cycling tour, with 4 other couples and 2 singles. There was plenty of space for everyone.

The tour company, Pedal and Sea Adventure paid for rooms so don't know cost.

Room Tip: Our room had balcony, which we shared with another couple who had room next door. There was a wall that allowed for privacy, but as the other couple were friends, it allowed us to visit.
