My husband and I just returned last night from a week at this resort and what a lovely time we had! After reading other reviews I’m surprised at some of the awful things people have to say so here is an honest and frank review.

The transfer was about an hour and 15 minutes as we had another drop off. This was fine just for us, if travelling with kids I’d recommend a private transfer.
We arrived late (after midnight) and while check in was slow due to only one member of staff, we were pleasantly surprised to be given a mountain and sea view room (we’d booked garden view) along with sandwiches and a bottle of wine in the room. The room was really nice, spacious and clean. A bit dated but still pleasant with lots of storage.

Beach towels are available at the spa with a 10euro deposit per towel and they can be changed every 2 days which in my opinion is more than sufficient.

The outside areas are lovely with lots of space and plenty of sun loungers. As we were there close to the end of the season there wasn’t many people there. Enough so you didn’t feel lonely but there was no queuing for anything or long waits for drinks etc. We were really lucky to discover the pool down at the executive suites (we didn’t think we were allowed down there but we were!) and because there was no one staying down there we pretty much had a private pool for the entire week! Not another soul bothered us and better yet, they had really nice quality prosecco available. The man serving down there was super friendly and had a really cute dog that I stopped to cuddle several times a day!

We didn’t go to the beach as it’s pebbley and we don’t like that but we did wander along to the neighbouring beach which was gorgeous.

Other people’s main gripe seems to be the food. We LOVE our food and I feel like we know what we’re talking about when it comes to what’s good and what’s not. The breakfast buffet was really good we thought, a decent selection of hot and cold options including a pancake station, egg station (with omelettes cooked to order) and lots of cakes, meats and cheeses and the most beautiful yogurt I’ve ever tasted! Lunch and dinner were fine, not fantastic but far from awful. Lovely fresh salads daily and a big selection of hot options. Granted the food wasn’t
super hot but I’m not sure what the solution to that is, it sits for a while and you wander round with it on your plate before sitting down to eat so it’s bound to cool down. Desserts are amazing and abundant! The only disappointment for me was the quality of the coffee. The a la carte restaurants were good with the exception of the Italian, give that one a miss! The food at the beach bar was excellent, especially the club sandwich!

The things I’d say make it less than 5 stars are:

- there’s no poolside service for drinks, alcohol or otherwise.
- ice cream is only available down at the beach bar. Not a problem for us but if we’d had the kids with us it would have been bothersome.
- quality of the cocktails wasn’t great, mostly coming out of bottles and not very strong.
- not something we would use personally but there was no room service available.

We thought the staff were really good, friendly and efficient and then resort was stunning. Yes there may be niggles here and there with the odd thing cracked or broken but to be honest these aren’t the kinds of things I take much notice of much less let them ruin my holiday!

Arrived for honeymoon around 2am.
Guy behind desk didn’t welcome us and then could not find our booking.
Took over 45mins to get a room for us. No refreshments provided as previously mentioned by other guests.
No honeymoon experience provided.
Shower leaking which leaked all over bathroom floor from the side Reported this to reception who couldn’t care less.
Booked with TUI and went to speak to the rep to discuss our booking since we had no room and the leaking shower.
TUI Rep does not frequent at the hotel and favours the nearby one and does not answer emails.

.Service is not kind
.Clean, but room maintenance is poor
Bring something against mosquito bites.
Charge extra money for clean coffee mugs and teaspoons in thr room after the first day.
It took them nearly 24 hours to change from twin beds to a double bed, even though we mentioned it in the internet reservation before arrival.
We are very disappointed.

This is the first time I've been to Rhodes and this hotel and it was everything we expected and more! The hotel was immaculate and in the most beautiful surroundings. The whole family enjoyed every aspect of our time there, from the pools to the food to the bars and drinks. The staff were all polite and welcoming and engaged in conversation whenever we saw them. They really made the holiday worthwhile and made us definitely want to return there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone that wants a great quality hotel at a reasonable price.

We have just returned from the Imperial after a great week. Hotel clean and staff friendly, especially Semas in main bar and Gerosimo in Relax Pool. Food good, if not piping hot, but varied and always tempting dishes.Plus a great beach side restaurant and 4 speciality restaurants with Mexican being our favourite but Greek (Meze Meze) was good as well. Only little gripe was entertainment, had a brilliant duo Tuesday evenings and Greek music and dancing on Thursdays but we missed this as arrived late and left on same day the following week. Entertainment team were excellent, their Michael Jackson/Michael Flatly tribute was very good but held in outside amphitheatre and got really cold in the late evening so didn't visit again. They need more entertainment in main bar (duo in 3 times a week, say). BUT had a brilliant week and would return. Need to know: this hotel is 1 - 1 1/2 hour drive from Rhodes airport and quite a way from Lindos with nothing around it but as all inclusive, not too much of a problem.
