Villa pod borom is simply fantastic place to spend vacation. Our host could not be more gracious. The rooms - we had 2 bedrooms, living room and enormous terrace for five people were great. There are multiple small rocky beaches, excellent domestic fish restaurant couple of hundred meters away and small pizza place just next door. Small bakery nearby as well open from early morning until sunset. You can do your own food, a mini market is some kilometers away. Jelsa few kilometers away has nice restaurants. Vrboska with its canals is a nice place to visit as well as a bit farther Suchuraj. You can just spend the entire vacation at Villa pod borom and relax on spacious garden. We spent long evenings at terrace listening to waves and looking at stars . 6 star place

Room tip: View from top floor to the sea is great

My husband, two boys (14,15) stayed 7 nights. It's just a lovely place.
Beautiful hostess Venija welcomed us and are warm and helpful.
The apartments where very clean and in good shape. Both app having nice verandas with pinetrees and sea view.
The house and area around the house is tasteful and with nice details and flowers. You have a barbecue area, library, areas to relax and sunbeds.
It is located 15 meters from the crystal clear sea where you can easy access the water by stairs. You also have a small beach and other nice places to take a bath (at the end to your right and left).
Villa Pod Borum is situated in Sveta Nedilja - a little old village in the hills. I recommend a walk to the cave above the village. You find a old church there.
You need to have a car to go shopping groceries (35 min) and seeing other beautiful places at Hvar.
Renting a boat to visit snorkeling places and Paklinski Otoci island is a must!
We loved staying at this quite place and visit lively Hvar town and other places on trips.

Highly recommended Villa Pod Borum and the Island Hvar!

We spent 2 great days here. Our host Venia the owner of the place was very freibdly and helpful. We had the penthouse apartment, which was fully equipped, with a big terrasse and splendid views, as the name means..."above the trees". Sveta Nedleja offers nice tipical croatian swiming spots, a harbor with a good, twi rather high priced restaurants and for active people beautiful hiking trails to the highest point of Hvar island (also rock climbing). A place we will always remember can only recommend.

We booked an apartment at Villa pod Borom for 7 nights, and could have stayed all summer! The location in the isolated village of Sveta Nedelja right above the warm Adriatic sea, the views from the spacious terrace, the peaceful and stylish environment, and last but not least the acquaintance with Venija, our welcoming host, made our stay on Hvar an unforgettable experience.

My family & I stayed @ Villa Pod Borom for 5 nights while traveling in Europe with another family. It was lovely. The owner was friendly & helpful. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the rooms were well thought out, clean & the view was amazing. Only thing our room lacked was a spatula. But I am sure if we had asked for one, it would have been provided. can also use. We grilled sausage & veggies one night & ate at the gorgeous table provided & it was lovely.

There are 2 restaurants in the village. We really loved the one @ the marina. It was 2 minute walk from the VPB. The other restaurant is next door, & it was also good. VPB is 40 minutes from Hvar town. Which we visited twice. VPB has an outdoor kitchen guests Would definitely return!

VPB has olive oil & wine for sale at reasonable prices. There is also a tiny grocery store up the hill next door to the church & a bakery 2 doors down from VPM. Other than that, groceries must be bought in a larger town. (We bought ours in Hvar town.)
