At first glance, this feels like a tired hotel and some of the facilities could use some investment. Our shower head was a bit hopeless. But Cuba has a way of winning you over and this is particularly the case with the staff at Cuba. Many of the staff have been there for more than ten years and we met loads of guests that have been coming back year after year - more than 14 years for some - and have become personal friends with the staff.
It's hard to single individuals out but here goes:
Sarah in customer service; Kiki in the concierge; Luigi in the kitchen and especially Nelson on the grill. Erling and the whole entertainments team are terrific. We have to give special mention to Alberto the tennis coach who is just marvellous!More
