We have stayed at Island View a number of times, by far one of our favourite spots. We are never disappointed. Lorne, Mel and staff are just amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they work hard to keep the place clean and safe. I love the layout and also the atmosphere the tropical Balinese décor creates. The beach front sites, pool, tennis court are such an added bonus. Highly recommend!!!

Lorne and his staff are great hosts, this camp is the best, the amenities are modern and clean and the location is great. Fantastic atmosphere and the staff go out of their way to make you welcome.
Continued improvements make it the best camp ground that we have stayed at. If you are in the area don't miss it, I am sure that you will be happy and the rates are excellent. Keep this on your list.

We intended to just stay the night but found the place a great place to stay. We arrived late but the office was still open and they seemed to have known it was me. We even got an upgrade to the really cool jungle village part of the camp.
The staff were really friendly and informative of the area. We found the facilities to be very clean and our room tidy. Loved having our own area with table and fridge.
Unfortunately we didn't get to use everything like the kayaks, but the pool was refreshing and we enjoyed the tennis. Lots of kids were around which was fun for our 3 Yr old. We loved the home made gelato too. We must have spent $100 there!
We could have stayed there a couple more day we like it so much. We thought the arm bands were a great idea and felt somewhat secure with the idea that the camp was secure and safe and no random people would be using and abusing the facilities.
There was a nice buzz here and everyone were friendly and tolerant of the many kids running around having fun.
Definitely stay here again if we come through this part of the country , or just want to get away from everything and have a resort type get away.
