The Palazzo Farnese (Farnese or Villa) is located in Caprarola. It is one of the finest examples of Renaissance residence. It was built for the Farnese family is one of the major achievements of the Italian sixteenth century.
Note that the pool is unheated, as it is not traditional to have heated pools in Italy during summer.
There is an extra fee of 200 EUR per week to pay for cleaning and maintenance of pool.
Due to the maintenance of the location, such as gardening and maintenance of the pool, 20 meters from the cottage, there is a small dependence where I live, in total respect of the guest's privacy. There is a sweet and friendly dog living at the dependence with me.

Cottage da favola!
Pace e relax. La casa a tutti confort in un ambiente circondato da verde con un giardino meraviglioso . Il Cottage ha una vista mozzafiato e piscina a sfioro fantastica, dove i nostri bambini ( 5 e 8 anni, hanno passato la maggior parte delle giornate divertendosi. Una casa vacanza al di fuori di ogni aspettativa,le foto non rendono la realtà Il benvenuto della proprietaria Roberta con la sua gentilezza ci ha fatto sentire di casa. La location e a solo 30 minuti da Roma e 5 minuti dal lago di Bracciano. Grazie per le torte buonissime fatte per la nostra colazione.

Beyond any expectation, wonderful place
Bellissimo cottage in legno arredato con gusto e immerso nel bosco dove l'unico suono che si sente è il canto degli uccelli. Posto ideale per "staccare", riposarsi e rilassarsi. Bellissimo giardino mentenuto con cura da Roberta e mozzafiato la vista sull'ampia valle sottostante aperta fino ai monti, vale la pena metter la sveglia per godersi l'abla... Gentilissima e simpatica Roberta che ci ha anche preparato un'ottima torta e raccolto fragoline di bosco fresche. Veloce è stabile il Wifi!

Un posto magico! Vista fantastica con piscina a sfioro panoramica. Accoglienza e gentilezza della proprietaria al top, non volevamo più andarcene, prolungheremo la nostra permanenza il prossimo anno di sicuro 😀Roberta ci ha accolto e coccolato con tantissimi dolci fatti da lei con marmellate e torte squisite. un sogno 😍
Ho trovato qst cottage per caso e già dalle foto ne rimasi entusiasta,così con mio marito decidemmo di prenotare per passarci un fine settimana! Appena arrivata sembrava di stare in una favola, e la cosa buffa, a pochi km da Roma...una location veramente magica, da sogno, le stanze??? Mi sono sentita una principessa, tutte in legno, con un letto a baldacchino che io personalmente amo 😍, un camino che mi riscaldava e che faceva da maestà al cottage! Roberta, la proprietaria, una di quelle BELLE persone che quando le conosci sei contenta di averle incontrate sul tuo cammino! Una persona generosa, sempre attenta ai dettagli, una persona molto piacevole con cui veramente fare delle belle chiacchierate come se stessi in famiglia...tutto meravigliasamente magico ❤️😍 Roberta e il suo cottage mi sono rimaste nel cuore ❤️

Un paradiso
E' un luogo incantato , in mezzo al bosco , curato nei minimi particolare. Arrivando al cottage si ha l'impressione di essere in montagna, fuori dal mondo, eppure è a due passi da Roma. Roberta la proprietaria è adorabile , gentilissima ed accogliente, fa di tutto per farti sentire a casa.
Consiglio a tutti una vacanza in questo luogo per rigenerarsi, si respira aria pura e si rimane incantati di fronte ad un paesaggio incontaminato.

Location stupenda. Trovarsi in un vero cottage immerso nel verde a pochi km dalla bella Trevignano. E che dire poi di Roberta...grande accoglienza e cortesia. Da assaggiare assolutamente i suoi dolci. Da ritornare.

Idyllic is the word
What a fantastic cottage, immersed in an enchanting woods,far from the hustle and bustle of Rome but close enough to go to the centre for some sightseeing. Trevignano is an enchanting little village by the lake and is close by but you need a car to move around. Picturesque little restaurants on the lakeside and all that you need can be found in the local shops. A relaxing and peaceful place where you can recharge your batteries by the infinity pool or just lounging in the sun in the beautiful garden. The owner,Roberta, is a great hostess and made us feel so welcome and cared for. Attention was paid to every detail from the welcoming cakes to the goodbye drinks offered. We will definitely return again soon. Thankyou Roberta for an unforgettable holiday!

La Dolce Vita
Beautiful villa located in a peaceful location. Roberta was a very fun & gracious host. Having her located on the property was unexpected but a real bonus. She had great local tips for family activities & places to eat nearby. She cooked us the most amazing fresh pasta lunch, totally yummy!
My only minor complaint was that both stairs were quite steep in this rustic villa so not entirely kid friendly. Note there is a master bedroom located on the ground floor but we had 2 families with 2 curious 3 yr olds. Difficult to explain/enforce to our 3 yr old kids that upstairs was off limits ;-)
I would highly recommend this beautiful & peaceful location.

Dear Declan it was a pleasure to meet your beautiful family! I'm glad you liked my tagliatelle made with my organic eggs. For the stairs I have a wooden gate to put according to the needs of the guest, why did not you tell me your problem of stairs?
