Great location, nice building and grounds but... Once you get settled in, you start to notice the shortcomings. Weird light fittings, some of which don't work do it's difficult to switch lights on or off. Weird stairs layout with a difficult drop at one side. No where near adequate kitchen facilities for the number of guests. Cooking space OK, fridge and freezer adequate, washing up and keeping clean no way in the single sink and 1.5 dishwashers. Big dining and reception areas plus outdoor seating were nice though. As a big group used to all kinds of accommodation, we made a great weekend but not worth the money. Oh, don't plan to come in any low profile cars, access is difficult even in a big 4x4. We were told it'd be OK to store a caravan here as we were stopping off here to meet friends on our way to a ferry to Spain. 30 mins to get the caravan in around almost impossible corners, not fun at all. We had a great time in spite of the accommodation, rather than because of it.
