This is where dreams come true. We brought 100 people here for our wedding and everything was done to perfection! I cannot thank Illaria and her team enough
It's a pity about the male receptionist being really rude (don't know his name but he has curly hair).

Attended a wedding here.....
Venue amazing, food perfect.
The location is not far from the nearby Riva Marina Resort (where we stayed).
The wedding was fantastic and it seemed all needs were catered for.

This is a lovely building in a beautiful site. The pool is really lovely.

However it has some way to go to being a good hotel. It is primarily a wedding venue and if you are there for a wedding it is probably very nice. One of our rooms was over 200 Euros per night so it was pretty unacceptable that there was a wedding which went on to 1.00am, making it impossible to sleep. My kids room at the back was less noisy. There were weddings on the subsequent days but they finished at 10pm.
Individual staff members were helpful but to find out anything or to get a drink you had to go to reception. It was better at the pool where there was usually someone around and they were friendly. There is no written information on anything - things to do, menus, drinks and mini-bar prices, golf prices, transfers etc.
Staff did arrange transfers for us to Carovigno every night, which was very helpful. Cost was 30 Euros for each return trip. We enjoyed the town and didn't really want to be hanging around other people's weddings.

In summary I think this place needs to decide what it is for. If it wants to offer an expensive hotel experience it needs to be much better run and focussed on service. It also needs to deal with noise issue from weddings which is difficult.

Beautiful hotel. Scrupulously clean. Stunning pool area.
But ....... staying here was a little like being given a large, extravagant, beautifully wrapped box of chocolates and finding only 4 coffee creams inside.
The welcome was non existent. Some staff (although not all) were positively miserable and were seen to argue in front of guests, which was awkward and embarrassing. Information regarding the local amenities was sparse. It was imperative to speak Italian; while this is not normally a problem (learning the local language is only polite and necessary), it did make the communication and information-gathering a lot more difficult.
The hotel is very isolated and transport is essential; there are no restaurants within walking distance but the hotel did kindly lay on free transport to the nearest beach/restaurant (15 minute drive) when needed.
Service was sparse; there appeared to be a definite paucity of help when required. Hotel and bar staff were few and far between and we were blatantly ignored on a number of occasions. We often had to go to reception to search for staff after many a long and lonely wait at the unattended hotel bar. Having said that, some staff (particularly the poolside staff and Roberto) were friendly and attentive.
To end on a positive note, the food was lovely and vegetarian guests were catered for. The hotel itself is undoubtedly stunning but the lack of service and 'niceties' seriously let it down.

Room Tip: Request balcony or terrace.

Just spent one week at the excellent hotel tucked in the countryside close to the sea.

Rooms very clean if on the small side and bathrooms are a good size but hated the dispensers for the soap so went out and bought a bar of soap.

Pool area was just one of the best we have experienced and the infinity pool was luxury. the bar area by the pool was clean and well run.

Breakfast was nice but nothing special but typical Italian, evening meals and lunch were a set menu of two items per course and the food was of a high standard.

Room Tip: Bring your own soap if you don't like soap out of a dispenser
