We stayed at the croft New Year's Day for three nights, on arrival we were greated by Tracy in a raincoat guiding us in with a torch as the sat nav takes you down very tight country lanes. Once in the cottage we found a lovely hamper containing fresh bread, scones, eggs and local produce to set us up for the first few days which was a wonderful surprise. We walked with the dogs around the tranquil fishing lake on the grounds the summer houses have an honesty bar and opposite a large field for the Dogs to run its truly amazing. We would highly recommend a stay here, the cottage is close to talland bay a stunning beach, a beautiful quaint village Polperro which the local Cornish pasties are a must eat and the main town of Looe. We will definitely be back this year thanks to Geoff and Tracy making our stay so enjoyable.

We Stayed in The court during the month of October for 4 days. A very homely and relaxing place well equipped with plenty of room.

One of our party uses a wheelchair however this was not a problem, we were able to get the car to within a few feet of the door and transferred quite easily to the wheelchair Once in the chair we were able to move through all the doorways and around the cottage without issue. (we have a standard sized chair)

It's worth knowing that while The court is not purposely set up for the disabled it does have good accessibility and plenty of room inside along with a bathroom which worked perfectly for us.

The cottage has its own external courtyard which was clean and beautifully maintained and very private.

Within the grounds there is a stunning lake (a must see) with summer houses huge fish and the friendliest ducks we have ever met Declan and Doreen. A wonderful place to sit and contemplate or have glass of wine and soak up the tranquility of the place

We would like to Thank Tracey and Geoff for making us feel so at home, We are already booked in for this year and would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting this part of Cornwall.

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 22 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We stayed in The Court for a week this month and loved every minute of it. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and clean. The owners Tracy and Geoff couldn't have been more welcoming and the little extra touches such as the welcome pack of freshly baked bread and cream tea made our stay extra special. If you have a dog they are going to love it here as they have their very own field to run in and those who love to fish there is a well stocked fishing lake in the grounds. Looking forward to rebooking in the near future.

“Fantastic Family Holiday in an amazing location”
Reviewed 7 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed in the Owl for a week during the October half term. We travelled as a family of 3. Me, my husband and my 4 year old son.

The first impressions were wow! The cottages are beautiful , traditional stone cottages. The owl is huge inside with a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. It's very bright and airy with several windows and French doors opening out onto the private garden with loungers and furniture.

The large bedroom is very comfortable and easily fitted an additional single bed in for our son. On arrival the cottage was immaculately clean and smelt gorgeous. I know the owners welcome dogs but there were no signs of stray dog hairs or any odours which is a pet hate of mine.

The owners Geoff and Tracy are so welcoming and really have thought of everything from the homemade scones, jam, bread ,eggs, milk, cider and beer on arrival; to the fully stocked cupboards with all the little things tea, coffee, salt, butter, washing liquid, cleaning spray, tinfoil, kitchen roll and sandwich bags. There is even a picnic hamper. The crockery, cutlery and bedding is of the highest standard and all looks new. The nespresso coffee machine was a great luxury! The heating was on making the cottage lovely and warm.

The owners made a fuss of our son whilst not being over intrusive. Little things like dressing up Mary the garden statue in her Halloween outfit, pumpkin stickers on the windows and pumpkin chocolates for him made him feel very special. Tracy had even made a huge chocolate birthday cake and put banners up celebrating my sons 4th Birthday which made his day when we arrived.

The grounds of the cottages are vast with a beautiful lake, with enormous fish and 2 extremely friendly ducks. Our morning walk to the lake to feed the ducks was a real highlight, my son loved that the ducks would follow him around the lake and the fish would pop up to say hello. We loved sitting in the summer house around the lake looking at the amazing view whilst enjoying a glass of wine from the fridge inside, it really was idyllic. Children will love the pre- historic dinosaur leaves which make for amazing hide and seek.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space we had compared to previous Cornwall cottages that we have stayed in. The location is ideal we had some brilliant days out and tasty meals at various restaurants which again were all very child friendly which isn't always the case! Highlights include The Monkey Sanctuary, crabbing in Looe bay, flying a kite on the beach, Beautiful Polperro and on the steam train to Bodmin. Everything is never more than 5-10 minutes drive away.

If your thinking of staying here don't hesitate - you will have an amazing time, we did and will certainly be back.

Thank you Tracy and Geoff for a fantastic family holiday
