We did the two day Expedition tour. Awesome! a must do. Friendly tour guides, exceptionally well organised. Stayed the Friday night at FWA accommodation. Rail carts were great. Had cover so we're protected from weather. So much local history and knowledge. Ray was so natural and informative. Learnt so much. Delicious home made morning tea and lunch. Stepping back in time. Tunnels are amazing as so old and still standing (built 1910 onwards). We stayed the night at Whangamomona Hotel which was another experience - got the passport stamped as being in a Republic. Sunday morning we departed by helicopter for a scenic trip into the bush. There we began our jetboating. Hours of boating, stop off to walk to the Bridge to Nowhere. Amazing this bridge was built by four men!. Continued on up the river. Ross an amazing host/driver. Highly recommend this excursion.
Hi Trish - thanks for your awesome review, we're stoked you enjoyed your experience here with us!
Did the T20 trip for my birthday. A very relaxing day. The guides were very good and Tina was very informative giving a good insight into the rail and the history of the area. Finished the rail trip at Whangamomoma with a beer. Trip back the driver also kept us informed of area. Also found a painting on Trademe showing the trail which I bought as a reminder of trip
Hi, thanks for your review - we're glad you enjoyed your experience with us, cool way to celebrate your birthday! Painting also a very cool find!
Brilliant time, loved the animals and scenery :) I would say to perhaps sell more things when we stop for snacks/lunch. More knick knacks. Only complaint really. Fun and the staff were so friendly. Awesome time/experience xx
Hi - thanks for the review and feedback, we appreciate it!
Did the 20 Tunnel tour from Whangamomona to Okahukura, We were in a 4 seater directly behind the leader. This was our second time on this tour and it has become more professional over the years. The scenery as always is great, the stops are hospitable and well-run, and the commentary at each stop is full of information and anecdotes. The guides were unfailingly happy, efficient, and full of information. Moving excess carts from the track at our first stop was a lesson in management and skill. Our main Guide was Ray - an abundance of anecdotes - he's been everywhere in the region and done everything. Opal was highly efficient and knew everything about the region. Tommo was a giant - big smile, big laugh, and big on friendly. Sharna (not sure I got that right - sorry if not) was quiet and learning but very pleasant to talk to - when she finds her feet she'll be a real asset. At the end we were put on a bus and taken back to Whangamomona with the odd bit of commentary on the way (that road is a disgrace to the government agency responsible - I've written to them for all the good it will do - but at least it's a try - and negotiating it with some skill in a bus is well done). Highly recommend this tour - I understand other tours they do are at least as good

Undertook Rhine of the Pacific tour with Forgotten World. A fantastic trip with all guides being knowledgeable, personable and very practical. Accommodation was good and especially exceeded expectations in wilderness areas. Food tops. Highly recommend this tour.
Hi Keith - thanks for your awesome review and being our first passengers on our Rhine Tour - we have our next departure in a few days! Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers Keith, Cassie.
