We found these woods by mistake but as they are run and managed by the forestry commission decided to stop and have a walk. The paths are wide and could be used for walking and cycling as well as dog walking. Little signage but we managed to do a lovely circular walk - overall a lovely little spot.

Thanks for letting us know your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit which you stumbled upon!

The woodland is managed by the Forestry Commission and the heathland by East Devon District Council Countryside service.

Popular with dog walkers, that sadly do not clean up after their dog which is a real shame as this a peaceful and beautiful place to visit and a lovely walk.
