Photos tell lies

Booked a standard hotel room at a cost of $198. The room is old and outdated. No chair/chairs, have to sit on the bed. The wardrobe and refrigerator cupboard look like they were made with the cheapest material possible and installed by an inefficient DYI person. Ensuite very very small. Not worth the money charged. This is the second time we have tried a Ramada that also has Club Wyndham and both times the rooms have been horrible. Won’t be booking with them again, lesson learned.

Dated but clean and well priced

Yes this ‘resort’ is dated. But we had a 2 bedroom apt that was well equipped and clean and good value for money in comparison to other resorts in area. Rooms might be different depending on ownership but ours came with additional heater and everything required. We were ground floor with great access to pool, which was great. Warm and clean. Restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast on weekdays but a great little coffee shop just across the street

Value for money, location average

Well priced for a 3 bedroom apartment, typical Wyndham property, would have been flash when it was new but minimal maintenance.
Apart from the beach there’s nothing to do. Very close to the airport which is good and bad. Needs a tennis court and more family based activities!

Our resort hosts and friendly reception team at the property are full of local knowledge and nearby activities. We do also offer bike, surfboard and boogie board hire at the resort I apologise if you weren't made aware of this during your stay. We hope to have another chance to welcome you back at the resort.

Not good value- needs a refurbishment

This overpriced hotel needs a refurbishment. The room are tired and quite small. No car parking was provided and internet was down all afternoon

Mutton dressed up as a five star hotel.

The room was freezing and I had to turn the air conditioning off as it only cools. Tried to call reception from the room phone, only to find there isn't one in all the rooms although it was clearly stipulated in the info blurb that there was. It is extraordinary that breakfast is not included every day, and one has to duck across the David Low Way to get some.
This is an old building that has had many makeovers over the last forty years, and is best likened to an upscale backpackers. Sounds glamourous, but it aint.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your recent experience with us. We take great pride in delivering a clean and comfortable experience to our valued guests and it is disappointing to hear we did not exceed your expectations. Unfortunately the SurfAir restaurant is a separately owned business so we don't have much control over their opening hours.
